These look great overall. I was thinking of passing on them, but seeing some of the new head sculpts, I might go ahead and try to get me at least one of the three packs. Gambit's face in particular looks like a nice upgrade with the Clint Eastwood-type facial expression. Only thing missing is some facial hair. Storm's head also looks nice.
I just got this set yesterday myself. First thing that really drew my attention was the face scans, they're incredible. I have the original ML Gambit and had no problems with it but if you compare that head with this one you're going to see the difference and improvement. The Banshee is amazing and in my opinion is easily one of the top 10 overall Marvel Legends figures ever released with the head sculpts being in the top 5, really, really impressive work.
@@balls3029 Yes, it ports over smoothly and looks great, highly recommend doing so if you can. It was slightly tougher to fit the OG head on this Blue & Gold body but only slightly.
I’m contemplating getting 2 of this pack. I really want to repaint one of the banshee figs green & yellow (that sideburn default head is clearly a giant sized X-men sculpt lol). Plus you can repurpose the extra Psylocke & Gambit bodies for other X-men and swap the extra heads on the old Psylocke & Gambit bodies. Honestly can’t wait to get a hold of these 😎
Forge definitely warranted a new headsculpt, especially since he is not wearing a headband on the 275 cover. They could reuse the Caliban wave head, but should have had an alternate head without the headband.
This X-Men line up is kinda weird for me. At one point it's nice that you can buy them in 3 packs. But at the back of my mind, they could have made this into a wave and have Blob as the BAF. Though no is forcing you to, you have to buy 2 3-packs + wolverine + Blob which again could have been free if it was a BAF. Then again, it's also nice to buy Blob separately but it's still priced as a BAF figure. Hasbro has been giving mostly bangers but I cant even buy them with those ridiculous prices and not rewarding you a free figure for basically buying an entire wave.
I agree. I got the Blob and Wolverine, but I cancelled both 3 packs today. I'm a big X-men fan but no connection to the 275 comic or these matching suits. When they release a new Gambit and the Psylocke we all want in their classic outfits (hopefully single carded releases) I will want those more than these. Especially at these prices! Not interested in Forge or Banshee. Hasbro is really ramping up the multi packs lately and being nefarious about it.
I got my 3 packs this morning and i like the psylocke but not fond of the face sculpt it doesn't look very Asian I think the previous 2 had better sculps if I'm honest but definitely great sets
I recently bought Wolverine and the Gambit, Banshee, and Psylocke 3 pack. I have no more plans on getting Jubilee, Storm, and Forge because I think the details look completely mediocre and garbage.
I just recently bought them off Hasbro, since they’re “cheaper” now😑. I’m waiting on the gambit, banshee and psylocke pack but I have the other one. Storm looks good but they make the ball joint too long, so it’s weird when she looks up. I might look for the vhs head to put on but Idk if it’ll be heavy like the spiderverse Jessica drew is. Forge looks weird in the face. And the straps are too stiff for his arms to go down. I’m disappointed in how they just threw jubilee together. The arm joints ruin the whole figure.
I can't wait for them to do a Father's Day 2 pack with green and yellow Banshee and green yellow Syrin with screaming head finally!:)
