Though the theme used for Spawn is _SoulCalibur II's_ character select theme. He was playable in the Original Xbox version of that game.

And with the guest characters putting their themes is simply marvelous!
Now, we only need someone from Deception and Armaggedon to complete the entire MK franchise in just one game.

Okay, since they added old characters. Why don’t they add ALL the characters back? I mean so they could be part of the story mode, and NRS should bring back the old themes. Like Animality, Babality and even Hara-Kiri.
All those characters would need new intro dialogue,voice actors, fatality’s,etc.
But Scorpion's signature fatality(The "Toasty" one) is gone now. And it was used as a brutality

I just tell is like it is. Almost everyone just wants the ninjas and female ninjas back and that's it. And many of the fandom views Mileena as a sex subject covertly. The best time for MK was back in my youth (from MK4 to Armageddon). Oh, and the actual Fatalities are replaced by Brutalities while the "new" Fatalities are just exaggerated and inane.
