Thank you for posting this technique. I felt a backward-step by Adobe was removing the Lighting Effects filter from the Photoshop filter menus. I still wonder why they thought this was a good move. It was so simple to use and effective. Perhaps there are other ways to approximate the diffused Spotlight effect from that filter? Thank you.
