Dude, she enjoyed it a lot. Couldn't you read her body language? I didn't know who she was before this video because I'm in a different continent. But even to me it's obvious she's enjoying the Borat character reflecting that prejudices are ridiculous. The male presenter seems like a half brain slime ball, especially at 1:41 when he is telling Borat to stick around after the show and he'll tell him who he's really banging apart from how own wife.
Now I learn this lady sued them, won, her male cohosts were slime, and she's making a movie about it all.
Borat is a character showing us prejudices are wrong by using extreme versions of prejudice. Just like all his other characters. SBC gives us comedy and a message.
She knew he's playing a character and most likely met them before the interview to discuss the scenario. However, it seems he went in hot and Gretchen is smart enough to know this is a sketch.
Has this guy ever broken character? Absolutely incredible actor. Clearly thinks about the backstory of the character. Seems like he also probably riffs a lot of these lines, too. Masterclass.

Borat was one of the few things I've ever truly been a fan of years before it became mainstream. When I first started watching the Ali G show I didn't know anybody who knew who Sasha was. I was immediately obsessed with Borat and Bruno. Greatest characters to ever infiltrate the American public

It’s not the same thing as someone outright wrongfully and prematurely claiming they they indisputably won and that anything that says otherwise must be fraudulent and thus when they start to lose they do everything in their power to contribute to voter suppression by trying to overturn states votes without legal cause to do so.
