Great show and comments. I have been praying for TSJ and this situation. I thank God for this outcome. The public at large and Lawrence, KS DA, police and etc, owes TSJ an apology.
Hopefully TSJ will be a first row draft pick, that’s where he belongs.
Agreed! I’m rooting like heck for him now. Really hope the DA, police & those involved face some sort of consequences for all this.
With this new information, I think U of I should compensate Mr. Shannon for the basketball suspension. Illini fans suffered also. Especially when your son reads about it in the news to you. I didn't know what to say or how to even explain that to him. Then, U of I suspends Mr. Shannon. Thank goodness for the not-guilty verdict.
TJ is going to have the greenest comeback story in all of sports and our starting starts off the season great gets suspended of something. We all knew he didn’t do from the start let alone gets to come back which was not a very high possibility and then put on an absolute show towards the rest of the season and especially in the tournament, and it would end up getting drafted, but anyway, I know he’s gonna do great in the NBA.
The Lawrence DA must have been pressured to prosecute. The fact that they waited 3 months to issue an arrest warrant indicates that they didn’t think they had a strong case.
Argued with Matt Norlander live on that cbs sports podcast they do and told both those fruits- INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!!!
