What are you talking about? Pre Coronavirus they toured all over the world!!! They have opened for everybody from Imagine Dragons to Smashing Pumpkins... I've seen them headline in New York City and other places in the tri-state area where I live... not sure what you're going on about but... their Glory Days when they played small crowds are long gone.. and I wish they were still here...😫 but at least I did get to touch her hand once.. when I was in the front row and that was a great show..
@@mr.anderson6040 They're an amazing band, good music, awesome singer, but OP wrote that precisely because they aren't *that* famous (like Smashing Pumpkins or Imagine Dragons, the latter having sold approx. 75 million records worldwide to date, no less). He made a good point, and I would argue that maybe it's because their music, though very good, is more niche and not very mainstream.
Man, Toronto has produced some great bands/musicians..........Neil Young, Metric, Rush, Barenaked Ladies, Drake(he sucks but is sure famous), Feist, Broken Social Scene, Deadmau5, The Weekend, Crystal Castles and of course the great, Maestro Fresh Wes.
Great performance. Got tired of reading comments about Dave's joke about them being from Toronto. Who cares! Stop politicizing every thing and enjoy the fucking music.
...and a few years later the joke would be..."can you take me back to Canada with you!" LOL! Also Canadians don't need visas to come and go from the US dolt!
A band with such a content and substance, strong songs. I don't know why they are not worldwide famous
If you don't fit nicely into a box, fame will elude you. Which is fine for a lot of people.

Same goes for The Sounds!
For real
Jimmy’s solo is so freaking amazing
I love this band.
Still listening to this track in 2019. ...And those dance moves, ya. ^_^
Listening in 2023.
Seriously good song. Seriously great band..crushing on Emily
I love the way they slow it down and then take right off again. Great band!
Just noticed for the first time what a great beat that is the drummer plays with the bass, hanging tom, and snare. 0:41 to 1:17
They're very tight.
Kudos to her for vocally holding all those notes while jumping around.
Thank you Emily for your performance and continued success 🇺🇸
Love these guys...so awesome live.
Jimmy's ON FIRE with this one! Holy crap!
Also, did anyone notice Emily's wearing the same shirt she wore in the official video?
Just got into metric. Sweet

Let your backbone slide, let the rhythm rip
Very proud of my hometown
Neil Young sucks, but you did give us Scott Pilgrim.
Thanks.
@@JustLikeHeaven77 Neil Young is amazing, fuck iz you saying bruh
Lmao the lead singer of metric is also in broken social scene. Gotta love Emily.
0:35
How come Metric can't get on any late night shows other than Letterman (which isn't even around any more)
Bad ass
lembrou yeah yeah yeahs
Great performance. Got tired of reading comments about Dave's joke about them being from Toronto. Who cares! Stop politicizing every thing and enjoy the fucking music.
The only way this absolutely positively genuine masterpiece could be any better is if you could edit Letterman out completely.
Come on man, they're Canadians, give em a break.
She's so bouncy😂
K, dude in the fedora. Is this some Bellflower thing?
The Bowery Boys!
we need for Feist!
Letterman personally vetted the bands on late night. They wouldn't have been back, if he hadn't of loved them!
Whoa ooo ohh, cage the elephant 2018(?)
...and a few years later the joke would be..."can you take me back to Canada with you!" LOL! Also Canadians don't need visas to come and go from the US dolt!
Canadians need a visa to work in the USA.
Dolt.
Does he really have to joke twice about the same thing? Nice showman that can't come up with any better jokes.
Senility?
It's a joke, you sensitive weirdo.
That annoyed me too--total groove kill guy--
Not a bot , (groupie) .
necks guest
I hear they changed their name to Imperial and move to Spokane.
great performance, but I hate the host....
Sounds like U2
I love both bands, but no.
WHat? This sounds nothing like U2.
