It's a good feature for doubling a sound too because you can add the quantise effect which might change the note slightly and time delay it before sending to another instrument.

Thank you for this video! Cannot agree about uselessness of midi tracks as instrument tracks still use more PC resources... but very helpful concerning layering approach - I have been thinking over it for some days))

if you want to route an instrument track (or any other track) to a different, or multiple sources you need to turn on 'direct routing' in the inspector and do it there....

Another good use for MIDI in Cubase is using it with the Vocoder (Cubase's "Pitch Correct" plugin).

Hey man, the Midi Tracks had a different sets of Effects than the Instrument track and im wondering if it's possible to to Inserts effects to an Individuals Midi track that are connected to one Instrument tracks?

That's a little bit unclear question. Have you figured it out by now?
There are audio effects and midi effects, also there are built-in effects and external.
If you are talking about audio effects - you don't apply them to midi tracks. When you create a midi track there is also an audio track (they are bonded), in a folder and you should put audio effects into its inserts. Let me know if you figured it out.

Hello. Are there any other uses for a midi track? Do you have any video?

No, I only use MIDI if I want one MIDI track for multiple instruments. Most of the time I use Instrument Track.

For which kind of viewers did you do this video. Eagle-eyed, millisecond-awareness pros, who need further advice? I can't imagine anything else than midi tracks. Simply because for a beginner it is impossible to understand and combine all 1000 rounting adjustments in cubase and synth. But... your videos is for pros... With 267 synths connected... to become even more pro
