Al and Michael, like myself, probably know at least a couple of Holocaust survivors. Most of them adamantly refused to ever buy or use a product made in Germany for the rest of their lives. They would not drive a Mercedes or Volkswagon, or shave or make coffee with a Braun product, use a Staedtler colored pencil, etc. To do *anything* that gave a penny to the nation that murdered their family members was akin to dishonouring those relatives and friends.
