I'm excited for this series on The Book of Mormon to premier & to see the scripture I've read so many times throughout my life & that I've shared on my mission come to life. The will be a great education tool to help Heavenly Father's children understand The Book of Mormon.
I am so excited about these as I have family members with specific educational needs and who have never been able to get into the scriptures as they are visual learners. This will be an amazing help.
There are some wonderful movies and videos on the Bible that would be a great help for learning the gospel. You can also find some Bible apps that are helpful as well. The Bible is full of great teachings even for visual learner's.

I find the massive stone blocks in the background a distraction. The scriptural text supports wood and cement. The Nephites did not build with cut stone.
I am very disappointed that they have used a MesoAmerica setting. There is very compelling evidence that the geography of the Book of Mormon took place in the Land of Liberty.

The people were scattered forth several times to the north and south of the region, and there are groups which are not accounted for. Some of these made it into the upper midwest plains of the US and propably further still. There are 2 hill Cummorahs, one in Guatemala outside the town of Q'umarkaj (Cummorah, hiding in plain sight still bearing the ancient name) the actual setting, and the second hill in upstate New York which was named cummorah because that is where the plates were buried by Moroni. Anyone paying close attention to details would see that he traveled for a very long time in the wilderness until he reached the spot where the Lord commanded him to bury the plates. There is a room full of records ( in the original hill) , but it has remained hidden in plain sight due to the ignorance of men and the Lord's wisdom in protecting it with the "slight of hand" of the naming of the second hill. This has led many people looking in the wrong direction. It is also very clear that Lehi and family crossed the pacific into a land where there were active volcanoes as evidenced in the BOM. There hasn't been an active volcano in the eastern US for many thousands of years before Lehi's day. Putting many things together, seeking diligently and asking of the Lord, these things have been revealed unto me by many proofs and sources the which there is not enough room here to discuss. Unfortunately, being filmed in North America makes it less accurate, since it was al developed in South America. Some American people want to believe it all happened in the US territory... but it didn't. Even Elder Talmage explains that in his book "The Articles of Faith"

Is there anyone who knows how to petition for removal of inapproriate channel / content? Mind you we have not watched it so not certain, but it appears someone is uploading footage of temple ceremonies while being performed. Sadly the Church probably has to leave it alone on account of free speech etc.

The Golden plates were preserved over generations to be translated, but their "translation" didn't even require that Joseph look at them. Why look at what you're translating when you have a magic rock to look at instead?
I love this book with all my heart it does however break my heart a bit too see it brought to fruition on the wrong part of the continent. I suppose we celebrate our Saviors birth not on the month he was actually born, the truth is the truth it matters a little less were it actually took place.
