Hogwarts (and crew) react to LOST. WE ARE SO EXCITED! Papa Brian is the only one who has seen it! This is going to be fun!
We're finally back! Its been a long road to get here. We've been busy MOVING HEADQUARTERS, acting in plays, writing music, making movies, and traveling the world, (okay, Sleepy Hannah is the only one traveling) but we are FINALLY back in the studio/living room!
Hogwarts, Sleepy Hannah, and Jeremy are BANNED from the comments, but we have a few other subscribers that are watching along with us. Please mark spoiler comments with a SPOILERS tag.

see you in another reaction brotha...
Should've made the video 23:42 long
He probably did. RUclips adds an extra second to the video length sometimes.
There were 15 words in your sentence.
@Paulo Pereira
Since they only had a little time, the crew of Hogwarts Reacts -- Hogwarts, Sleepy Hannah, Jeremy and Papa Brian -- decided to go out for tacos. While they ate them, they caught fifteen minutes of the news. They watched as six teens met Michael Jordan at a restaurant. They asked him about his favorite NBA win. Old #23 replied, "Ironically, it was with the Washington Wizards. I broke the record for triple doubles when I was 42-years-old."

"See you in another life, Brotha" sounds a lot like what was written on the back of Nadia's photograph: "You'll find me in the next life if not in this one."
This is honestly one of the greatest single scenes to ever grace cable television. It's perfect in every single way. the most mind blowing moment inentertainment I've ever had
I like how they went through pretty much EVERY character trying to guess who it was in the opening.
Do you know the story from the DVD commentary that they were trying to cast Desmond and looking at actors from around the world. They got an audition tape from Henry Ian Cusick and liked it and wanted to contact him and it turns out he was living in London right across the street from Carlton Cuse. Coincidence? Or was it the island??
I did not know that!
I love how she's telling him "we can watch another episode tomorrow. You're not doing anything" 🤣
"It's over..? Noo!". Never gets old.
I'm huge fan of LOST and watched it during its original run on ABC. I also have the Blu Rays and have re-watched the whole show at least twice and my favourite episodes even more than that. That being said, you Papa Brian allow me to suddenly see many things I have not noticed before. Thank you for that! You're a true LOST aficionado and Hogwarts, Sleepy Hannah and Jeremy are extremely lucky that they have you to guide them through this epic adventure.
I love this episode and love desmond. such a good character and perfect actor. Also a quick factoid: this is the most watched episode in the entire series with over 23 million people.
Oh Wow! I never knew that :)
also.........................................Lol............................... 23..............million................. xD o_o
A factoid is a fake fact, btw.
@@cameronvincent3122 No it's not, the word has two meanings.
@@johnnytremp Factoid having two meanings is a factoid in itself.
Oh my god, I had never realized the guy Jack didn't save was Shanon's father LOL.
Best character of the show, brotha!
If I could triple like this I would. I have consumed pretty much every Lost reaction on RUclips and you guys are definitely my favourite reactors so far.
I think Hannah wanted seconds of chili; she licked it clean 😆
I must have the filling & crust equally... Pumpkin pie 🙌🏼 🥧

Never heard the song before Lost. After the episode I immediately bought it.
The reason there are so many useless people on the island is because Jack denies them their struggle. He would help the moth out of it's cocoon if he could.
And saves them, looks out for everyone unlike John who gets them killed.
Understand the difference, stupid?
@@nikdik154 The climax of Jack's character arc was him being a big enough man to admit that John was right about almost everything.
About Jack not thinking... Sawyer said it better: He just reatcted, he didn't think.
You should have called attention to Westworld's 02x04 openning scene, with Dellos" introduction! :/
On the pumpkin pie debate: filling and crust together! Can't have one without the other. They complement each other so nicely. Or as Andie MacDowell puts it in "Michael": "Sweet, wet, salty and dry." It all just comes together so beautifully.
This hogwarts girl is so clever. He correctly predict the intro and Desmond. I wonder if she going to correctly predict the BIG one.
All of the pie is to be enjoyed. This includes the crust. One of the best parts of eating pie is having the filling and the crust in the same bite!
Lmao that conversation at the end about her rather having Brian watch her get murdered than getting murdered alone hahah
No spoilers, this is my favorite cold open of any TV show I've watched. Bonus, it introduces my favorite Lost character as well.
This is my one and only birthday present today, and it is very much appreciated!!! Can't wait to watch this one! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy Name Day!
@@victorsixtythree Thank you, Victor!
Happy Birthday, beautiful! ❤️
@@pearljammies Thank you very much, love ❤️❤️
_Happy Birthday_ 👍
Not only did John not tell anyone about the hatch. John was lying about what he was doing. John also put Boone in danger, then asked Jack to treat Boone. I can understand a doctor being upset when people withhold information.
john told boone to get out of the plane and boone didnt, i dont know why fans continue blaming him
i think most fans are angry that he withholds information from people bc he thinks he knows better. he sees boone all bloody in his vision but completely bypasses it in his obsession and elects to not tell him about it. if boone knew, he would have all the information he needed to make his own decision to climb up that plane or not, then the blame would not be on john. instead, john chose for him. by omitting that detail, he robs boone of his choice, so boones blood is on his hand (literally, as he wore the man's blood on him for like 2 episodes)
10:52 “I want this apartment!” ...maybe not after you have the job that comes with it for a few months, Hogwarts :)
'when you were alive in the 70s and 80s people would leave their doors unlocked and people would just walk into their house and kill them!' haha I'm dead 😂🤣🙏
I'm on my second watch through of your reactions. Yeah, it's an old reaction, but it still lives on dude. Just finished season 1 and now, on to 2.
They did a good job of making flashback Jack look a hot mess, utterly exhausted, (although the wigs are truly terrible), but his hyper-emotionality and crying in front his patient -- I think that's what his father meant by, "Don't be a hero. Don't try to save everyone. Because *when you fail*, you just don't have what it takes." As in, you care too much. It's a terrible thing to say to a child, especially when his dad claims that his job does not affect him, but also, he's an alcoholic, so how much of that is true?
Being raised by an alcoholic parent is abusive on its own, but Jack also worked for him. I guess what I'm saying is that Jack's hero complex stems from an innate desire to help and defend others, from that childhood flashback we saw, but it also got twisted by his father. Jack and Locke are two sides of the same coin.
Hannah of Science and Hannah of Faith...they're like mirror opposites...and Hannah spelled backwards is...?
hannaH
before you showed the pie, I was like, " Nope, crust sucks, not needed, a waste of space" and then after I was like " holy shit, I totally can SEE that the crust on that pie would taste and be awesome" !
@11:35 then I was like ohhh that must in underground where jack and John are looking down at 😂😂
I'm starting to think that Papa Brian knows about LOST more than Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof
I've never even had pumpkin pie before 😮
Don't bother... Its disgusting...
@@MarieAnne. Lemon meringue... Starwberry... Mmmmmmm!!! Dutch Apple... Just no pumpkin...
It’s sweet potato pie’s ugly step sister 🤢
@21:51 when you get left on a cliffhanger 😂😂😂😂
@7:50 yeah Jack does instead of anyone getting hurt same with John but if John has someone with him it will be a sacrifice for the island like 😂
@18:24 I was like hmmm who is this let me guess he’s the one down there 😂😂
Omg hogwarts doing a lil jig to mama cass is LIFE 😭❤️
Well, differing opinions certainly make for interesting discussions.
@21:21 ohhh shit when he says brother ohh chills
Filling WITH some crust. Duh.
1. Filling WITH the crust. One cannot be without the other.
2. Hannah of Science and Hannah of Faith sounds just about right for them lol.
3. And thank you for pointing out Anson Mount as Cullen Bohannon from Hell On Wheels. Loved that freaking show.
4. Not only was the number 108 on that wall Jack was looking at but so was the number 42. It was to the right of the big white arrow.

I agree with Hogwarts, filling all day every day.
the pastry is the most important part of any pie, in order for it to be good.
Walt speaking backwards...
He says...Spoiler..................
"Don't push the button. Button bad"...
Press the button. No button is bad.
I would agree with Hogwarts but Sleepy Hannah’s pie crust looked perfect. My sixteen word comment.
Papa Brian is King - Lord of the seven seasons and protector of the box
"I love this appartment"
Desmond: Whatcha talking about, sister?
Filling is definitely the *best* part of pie, but crust is also delicious and essential. I agree that if it's too thick or dry it'd be worth eating around, but in general I don't think that's the best way to eat it, lol. But I do kinda love the idea of just eating the middle of the pie. 😛
Love your reactions. Thanks!
Brian, Hogwarts needs to watch it on Monday! Don't be mean, let her watch everyday! =P
0:30 Not trying to gatekeep, just an observation, but I really do think if you take the world's "biggest" Lost fans (like those devoted enough to create Lost reaction videos a decade later for example) they all have Locke as their favorite character (at least for season 1).
I love pumpkin pie with a good crust.
But I have been known to take a spoon to the middle of one as well.
😂😂
I also wanted to say I watch every video you all put out. I'm just so damn busy, i don't comment like i should.
But I love you guys so much.
So happy you decided to do this series.
Thank you for all your work. ❤
12:40 I envy you guys here. I miss being clueless when it comes to Lost :(
@10:28 when I watched this I was like is this even lost 😂😂😂
6:20 lol "The Saviour".....funny how the writing teams next show Once Upon A Time took that concept in a way.
I am not saying Jack acts completely rationally and fairly about John but his suspicions or distrust to Locke has some merits. 1. He lied about how Boone injured which impaired Jack's medical approach and Jack, as a doctor, thinks it is a factor for failing to save him. I think he would probably die anyway but John's lie definitely didn't help either. 2. John's beliefs of destiny and they're there for a reason becomes an issue when he says things like "Boone was a sacrifice the Island demanded." That's obviously alarming for a leader and for anyone, and it should be. That sentence would be really concerning to me if I was just a survivor (not even defacto leader like Jack) on the Island.
We'll never know whether or not Jack would've been able to save Boone if he'd been given proper, accurate, information from the start.
That said, I genuinely believe deliberately withholding information regarding Boone's injuries from Jack places the responsibility of Boone's death in Locke's hands. There was malicious intent there. In a way, Boone was murdered.
@@LeoChris64 You think there was malicious intent? Boone did fall off a cliff, which is exactly what he tells Jack, but he just didnt mention the plane because he wanted to keep it a secret.
Its clear to me that Locke keeps things like the hatch and the nigerian plane a secret, because he has a communion with the island and an understanding of its specialness that goes beyond rational thought. He also knows that NOBODY else would understand this.
He knows on some level that the hatch is connected to the heart of the island and its his purpose of being there. If you go back to the scene where Locke finds the hatch with Boone, he says:
Locke: "Dont you feel it?"
Boone: "What?"
Locke: "IT!"
He just knows and that is why Locke is special... he just knows.
@@danielgray2661 Boone didn't fall off a cliff, the plane he was in fell off a cliff and his leg was crushed under some serious weight. That's medically really different. That changes the treatment. Jack figured it out after giving him blood. As a result, crucial time was wasted with the wrong treatment and giving Boone blood before treating the leg properly was a waste, maybe even worsened his condition. I am not saying it was murder like LeoChris64 and even if Locke told the truth Jack most probably wouldn't be able to save him either BUT lying about how EXACTLY the injury happened is justifiably malicious from Jack's point of view. He thinks Boone maybe, just maybe, had a chance if Locke told the truth. Combine that with his "Boone was a sacrifice the Island demanded" comment, Jack has a right to think that there's a "Locke problem" now.
@Daniel Gray I mean, what did Locke have to lose by telling the whole truth? There wasn't even a need to bring the hatch into it. "We encountered a plane, Boone climbed up to see if there was a radio. Plane fell. Now we're here." Jack is very adamant that he based his medical treatment on Locke's lie, and well... I don't have medical training but I'm gonna go ahead and assume he's not saying that just to make himself look good.
The thing is Locke JUST had a vision of a bloodied Boone minutes before this occurred and he still concealed information. For a man of faith, he's not exactly... following what the island's telling him. (And yes, he did try to get Boone out of the plane sooner, but I just don't get his motivation for lying about Boone's injuries)
It felt very much like playing God, I don't know... especially combined with his declaration that Boone was a sacrifice the island demanded.
coldsore tip: get an alovera plant, as soon as you get that tingeling that its coming, use a needle or scaple, put tip/edge in the alovera and pinch the skin in affected area, it stops it where it is and will heal 100% in 1-2 days, the quicker you do it the quicker it heals. keep dabing with the alovera meat/slime :) sounds abit brutal and do hurt abit but its worth it, also makes it less aggresive each time. hope it helps. Thanks for great reactions
18:54 Yup. My favorite Character finally appears.
This episode is so damn good. One of my favourites
11:31 I heard that on the labels for the vaccine that Desmond takes it has the Hurley's numbers, but I can't really tell here.
This is the only reason I wake up on Monday mornings. And Friday mornings.
I really feel like you don’t ever have to feel bad when you eat
The crust is the best part!
16:53 - "I was waiting for you...so YOU could could down first."
Lol at Hogwarts. "Aw!"
Well it’d be easier to pull Kate out than to climb out by himself. That’s why he waited.
OMG this open blew my mind back in the day , nothing else has come close since
Even though I chose science rather than faith after years, it was 100 times easier than choosing between filling and crust. I eat both at once. Without remorse.
Okay. I’m really late to reaction but I don’t want Sleepy wrath put upon me. Fit me, the filling is the best part and the crust is yet unsung hero. Crust is Samwisr Gamgee.
Man I love these. So good
Buttery flaky Crust.
I'm not a fucking psychopath.
No nicknames in this episode from Sawyer
Jack is called "Brotha" by Desmond
Hurley called Jack "Mr. Ha Ha".

SSDGM! And pie isn't pie without the crust.
I must agree with Sleepy Hannah here, #TeamCrust
Omg! Hogwarts made me feel really old when she talked about the 70’s & 80’s 😩
Crust only, hogwarts can have all the filling she wants as long as she leaves the crust
I despise pumpkin pie, but any other pie, the crust and the filling are best when consumed together.
filling with crust and toppings.
Hey, look...it's the DJ from Empire on the couch.
LOL. People wonder why she's always tired. DJ's work nights. ;-)
Pot pie without the crust would just be chunky chicken soup.
Filling! I even make it without crust more often than not.
I've never noticed that was Bohannon before. Also, you like Hell on Wheels? You have great taste in TV.
Love that show. It kinda slipped a little bit, but man...the dynamic between the Swede and Bohannon. Cinematic gold.
@16:53 see John waiting for her instead of him going first 🤔
You have to have a good balance on filling to crust ratio
Middle of the pie for sure
@14:29 omg chills I was like wtff
I'm dead to Hogwarts. :( The crust always, especially if it's Sleepy Hannah's (apparently).
"Stay sexy, don't get murdered" is the quote of the year.
Filling, no question!
I watched Lost 4 times and I just realised -> 4+8+15+16+23+42=108!
@12:27 chillls
I'd eat all the crust
Great opening
Fave LOST character!!!
17:22 That was as spooky as the Walt scene
It looked like a great meal but it was rough. I get oddly weirded out by square plates and bowls.
I didn't know that was Cullen Bohannon! Speaking of which, any chance you'd react to Hell on Wheels?
Its not out of the realm of possibility...but I think if we were to do a western, I'd probably start with Deadwood first, since the tv movie conclusion is coming out soon.
Filling, Filling, Filling !!! 🥧🥄
The pie
Filling AND crust.
Filling over crust for pie. Easily. Don't worry hogwarts, you ain't crazy.
A good crust can be nice, but I probably wouldn't miss it in most cases so I'm #TeamFilling. Really, though, the best is to combine the two: #CobblerFTW
