I have downloaded the app, created an account, created the questions but cannot play as I have not created any students. Your video fails to tell us how to do this. Please advise

Hello Mr. Russell just wanted to give you a thumbs up for this video it really helped me get started with kahoot. I did realize the players in my kahoot were not able to see the option for the answers to the questions unless they saw my device I was able to figure it out. After finishing the questions I went to the Done button it sent me to a pop up screen saying (Here are some more suggestions) with 3 options 1. Test the kahoot 2.play now 3. Share it with others I clicked on # 1 test kahoot then it send me to another page were it said Game options (recommended )I scrolled down to the option (show question and answers on players devices) I enabled it and the players were able to see the option for the question without looking at my device.I hope this was helpful for those who ran into the same problem 👍😅

If i use any youtube video ....includes non cc videos...in a quiz , i include attribution.author and url. Am i breaking copyright, ? The quiz question use parts of the video as a focus. Thanks
You are not downloading the video, you are only playing the video from RUclips. I don't think there is an issue with copyright. It would be different if you downloaded a physical copy. When you upload a video to RUclips, you are allowing it to be shared. I am no lawyer but that is what I understand. Always good to attribute anyway.

Thanks, Russell , It was great learning and informative but i have a question that many student have a single device so can they see the question on their screen too or the teacher have to present her screen through screen sharing.
I think you should look at Quizziz.com It is sort of the same as Kahoot but deals with that problem. Try this video ruclips.net/video/RiIR4d25mY0/видео.html

I need to look into this as I do this you have this option now and I am going to make a new video. In the past this was not possible. It was only for a live session.
but I have a query when I prepare a puzzle game when testing it the scores don't appear as a correct answer when playing the game. I've watched lots of videos trying to figure out what was wrong still didn't find a solution
You have to be kidding me. Please tell me you’re not actually teaching people. Did you just call this guy a master teacher? Honestly.. this dude is a master chimo at best, so what does that make you?
I used kahoot but the students are complaining that neither they can see the questions nor options on their screen. They have to see my screen to choose the correct option as they are getting only different colors instead of text. Pls help me out
When you work with Kahoot on line the students need two devices. You screen share the questions so they can see them and they answer by logging in on their mobiles. It works great and have often done it but they do need 2 devices or they need to operate 2 browsers within their computer and jump from one to the other
Can the students access the quiz on their own without the teacher being present? The answer is yes! I logged in created a quick quiz and tried the quiz twice once logged in and the second time logged out as the teacher. You select the assignment option allowing however many days you like to give them, thanks!
Thanks for that. I couldn't remember if you could always do that. I think they introduced the homework option later but thank you for answering the question.
If you want to work offline, say doing a quiz for homework, then I would use Quizizz.com. It is free and works better offline. I am not sure if you can use Kahoot offline but you can use it in a live session for sure. watch this video www.teachertrainingvideos.com/quizizz_complete_training
Thank you so much, quite detailed. When I put my students into groups, how would I be able to identify them? Also, how do I save it before releasing it?
Tell them when they join to add their names. If you are teaching online you do need to share your screen so they can see the questions but the students access the kahoot from their phones.
Brad, I guess you could create a teacher account and then get your students to log into that account and make their own Kahoots. I can't remember if they now restrict the number of Kahoots you can make but I think that would work and it would be a great exercise!!
Thanks, Russell. Very helpful and informative. Keep up the good work!
I am glad it was useful. Thanks

Hey how many students can play at a time on classic kahoot mode?
10 players but you can upgrade if you need more.
I used kahoot but the students are complaining that neither they can see the questions nor options on their screen. They have to see my screen to choose the correct option as they are getting only different colors instead of text. Pls help me out

How many people can play at a time with basic account?
Up to 20 players per kahoot and up to 1 host.
My kahoot is saved as a draft and am unable to move it to my kahoots?
Thanks
Doesn't it show up in your list of Kahoots even if you have not completed it. Can't you simply save it? I am not clear what the problem is , sorry.
Thank you so much, quite detailed.
When I put my students into groups, how would I be able to identify them? Also, how do I save it before releasing it?

Hi Russel, can I create an account (a student one) and allow my students to access the same account to create their own Kahoot!?
