I often wonder about the origin of this form and it's relation to 'Ch'i as it comes from a Bhuddist rather than a Taoist lineage. It certainly does stretch the body in a gentle way, is excellent for balance, feels meditative and something tells me, the continual learning of a pattern of movements found in arts such as Tai Chi and Shuang Yang, is good for our cognition whether or not we are accessing the 'Chi'
