@@LMP19870 It appears when you exert your elbow joint (bones and muscles both) repeatedly. It causes thing from irritation to sharp pain whenever the joint is moved.
Yeah, it's bad when you go to the doctor for pain and they tell you that's just what getting older is, stuff breaks down and you hurt all the time. Exercise is important!
@@Toastybees Exercise is, indeed, important! But, be careful! The problem started because I was being dumb and wouldn't drop the workout for a bit or alter my routine enough when something was feeling off. I'm not young enough to just ignore everything, anymore.
Grip strength and forearm exercises are good for tennis elbow/tendonitis rehab/prevention; learned from my physical therapist.

As a 20-something you can basically bounce back from anything, but once you cross 30 even lifting something wrong can mean a torn rotator cuff and a decade of pain.
Luckily any little bit of exercise is good for you, compared to none.

@@mindflair3732 There is also a high chance that she just told the doctor to begin with. I mean, its a doctor specifically addressing her vocal chords problem. He has to know what kind of lifestyle she leads and what exactly she uses her voice for in order to help her.
Also, doctors are bound by patient-doctor confidentiality, so in theory he/she cannot legally tell anyone about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your age doesn't really necessarily reflect your body age. Like when I was 23 years old, I had a body age of 16, but when I entered high stress jobs around 24, I got significantly got worse for wear and had body age of 38.

This was that time period when Senchou had to go on break for 1 month. During that time period, she was not truly resting. As in like just stay in her room. If she has to go out, she can but she can’t do things that are physically demanding.
She tends to speak in that “Mochi” voice which is what caused her throat to feel sore in the first place. It’s totally fine if she speaks normally but, well, you know what happened after that.

As a doctor, generally speaking, I always advise people take care of themselves. While this is obviously something that can be followed at any age, I do find that your late 20s/early 30s are a critical time for it. You really... *really* want to look after yourself entering that time bracket, or you're in for some rocky 40s and on. It's always interesting to put things in perspective for people because they tend to see the gestalt, and not the individual parts. If I'm talking with an older patient, they're sometimes taken aback when I say "understand that your coronaries are 68 years old" and so on and so forth.

Using your voice properly is an important skill that can be taught and trained; there are specialist dealing with that. This isn't as much about how you sound but how you make your sounds; Marine always sounds like she's speaking non-stop, even when inhaling - this is a skill in itself but supposedly very bad for throat and voice cords.
It's supposedly best to speak only when exhaling moderately-fast, as in slightly fast than minimum to make sound. I'm by no means expert but I sure hope Marine and others in Hololive has had one which "taught them how to speak long without straining their voices"!

We’ll never know behind the scenes. And here is the thing. Based on what I witnessed, at least in my country, unless both are streamers like iHasCupquake and her husband Red, or both are VTubers, we won’t know, chances of them being married is low. Not impossible but low.

What kind of shit doctor tells a 30 year old they're not young??? That is young. I guess they could say you're not a teenager or in your 20s cause some health issues change, but mostly you're still quite young at that age.
I'm getting hypertensive patients in their 30s, kidney stones in the 20-30s. 30s aren't young anymore in the sense you are not immune to illnesses that typically occur after 50. Urban lifestyle has a lot to do with this.

It always needs context, young in terms of what. 30 yo is young in terms of general fitness, ability to achieve things etc. However in terms of your body's ability to recover from injury or overuse it is definitely not young anymore, and that is probably what the doctor wanted to convey. Take care of yourself, this is the only body you got.

It takes longer to warm up for exercise, wounds take longer to heal, you become more sensitive to diet, you require more sleep, etc.
