  • Hallo guys, I hope you are doing well. My truck was fully loaded with empty plastic pallets, it wasn't to much of a load, but anyway. I was on the way to do a delivery and my inside on a rear differential tire exploded just before arriving.
    Uncut video, Enjoy.

Nice to see your face Angel Venkov, taking that blown tire off was not easy, cannot believe how stuck it was in side there. Congrats on conquering that tire repair.

A lot of trucks here (New Zealand) and especially those in "fleet" use seldom carry spare tires now, even for a lot of trailers. The only ones now who generally do carry spare tires is heavy transport trailers, house moving trailers. Most have agreements with tire companies to come and replace/repair tires where vehicle is. Most tire companies here eg Firestone, Goodyear, Michelin etc as examples all have field service vehicles to pick up the tire and come to you. Normally those agreements are 24//7 coverage 365 days a year. I guess it is cheaper that way than have hundreds of fleet trucks carrying multiple tire sizes not including the weight of those tires and space required, afterall very few trucks have same sized tires on front and rear normally the front ones are wider. Not always true, but, it seems to be the way heavy trucks are going now. A lot of trailers now for example no longer are using "duals" but instead going to a wide-based single setup.

@@AngelVenkov1 so I assume they are wider at the back than the front rims, right?

@ actually they are thinner at the back, cuz they are two next to each other
