Shout out sayo CACO. We are getting my 2024 Model Unit of CX9 Exclusive Deep Crystal Blue next week. We wanted to get the CX90 but we want to wait a couple of years or so until they perfected the new CX90 just in case there are minor issues they'll encounter along the way since it's a new design, new car model and technology especially the mild hybrid.
@@leks7954 cx3 is great as it’s a compact suv but according to the dealership they don’t advise it if you’re a new driver as there’s a lot of blind spots. Im a new driver got my license in 2019 so I got the 2018 mazda3 then, driving 2021 cx9 now also had the 2019 cx5. This is by far the greatest amongst the 3 models for me.
The previous top of the line cx9 is called signature series. It already had air cooled vents on the front seats. It also got the Japanese wood trim covering the mid console around the shifter with area with a blue light 😀 fun car to drive but expect this car to be a gas guzzler. Worse days I get 4km to a litre, best days I get 8 km per litre. Average of 6. Mine’s a 2019 model, i still like my car until today. Wish it came with paddle shifters and adaptive cruise control though. Hopefully mazda has improve the screen resolution and the 360 camera’s resolution
The camera has not improved since it still uses the first gen mzd connect which from what I heard uses an analog signal for the camera, the new mzd connect is now digital so it's now better and being utilized by the cx9 in America
I think it's normal 1 liter for 8 km, beacuse it's AWD, it's AWD variant right ?.... and if u were in Indonesia, if u buy AWD variant, u got full spec with safety sense
Went to test drive one of these and I love the interior setup but I felt a few things squeaky or hollow. For instance accord interiors are ok but I felt they were put together well didn't feel hollow on button clicks etc. IMO. Also this one lacks power when it's loaded with 4 people. V6 version would be cool

Still missing that zoom zoom sometimes , if only this thing has more interior space. Glad I went with the Telluride tho, lots of techs and also my kids love that they finally have not just the heated but also cooled seat on the 2nd row which is pretty rare in this segment.

Gud day Caco, been following most of your car reviews...I would like your honest opinion hehehe, I cant decide on a CX 8 AWD and a CX 9 AWD!!! is the price difference of about 500k for the CX 9 worth it?
Hi. Do all "Signature" trim models carry the signature badge in the rear ? Asking because it's difficult to tell models apart from the exterior. Thanks
Agree with this. CX5 has diesel. CX8 and CX9 doesn't have any in the lineup? Doesn't make sense. I need a 3 row diesel Mazda. This is the only reason why I went with a Fortuner instead. If there was a diesel option for CX9 or CX8, I'd get that instead.
@@thetrustysidekick3013 I beg to differ, I've ridden some diesel engine powered suv and the rattle of diesel if not negligible is almost nil once the engine reach it's desired temp.
It blows my mind that the CX-9 wasn’t a huge sales success - they’re fantastic. There is not a bad line to be found on the CX-9. Fine looking sneakers too.
@@paulbonifacio901 because of the car problems. It's mostly electrical, which isn't nice to hear or see. Yes the explorer looks stunning, but so does CX-9, minus the headache.
Sorry dude but you should do some research before doing a review like this. Most of what you mentioned as "new" are things that I already have in my 2021 CX-9 GT. I'm not at the end of the video yet but so far the only real difference besides aesthetic stuff is that it now has wireless carplay. Wireless carplay is a great feature and I wish my CX9 had it because a lot of times (although this may be due to the cheap wires I've been using) but my carplay will cut out. I believe this could be simply fixed with a better wire. I also put in a fast charger in the car for my phone but that is connected to the cigarette lighter. If you've read this far I will now tell you the most important con that I've found with this otherwise stellar vehicle. The AC just can't pull it off when it's about 90' or above outside. It literally takes forever to cool the cabin and sometimes I could not get it to cool down at all. The vented seats are nice (also available on the 2021 CX9) but it would be nicer to actually be driving in a cool cabin when it's blistering hot outside.
Some of the features implemented for CX9 vehicles sold in USA, Canada and Australia were just only implemented for the Philippine-spec CX9 only a few months ago.
I owned a CX9 2012 model, with a 6cyl DOHC 3.7L gas eng....had around 273hp by memory, a great responsive engine, but out of necessity only smaller engines nowadays😐
The successor (CX90) has a 3.3 liter inline six cylinder diesel engine (which is the same as the one used in the CX60). But for CX90, so far, only Australia is the only market in the world so far that offers Diesel engine for CX90
