Good topic, I like your videos. The first two examples you showed include many pieces from The Soloist, the designer of the brand Takahiro Miyashita loves to play around with layers, just like BBS does.

My favorite would have to be color layering. Using colors that compliment each other, warm/cool, bright/dull, I feel can give a fit nice depth.

Yeah thats true. Either colors that compliment each other or contrasts can be fun to play around with..

Im really into the idea of layering. This video had some really nice thoughts and fit inspo.
I dont really dig the puffer vest inside of a blazer but my main issue is tights. I think that if you incorporated some not that tight pants and especially for the second look , the fits would be dope. Im saying that because the top part of your fit looks much more relaxed. Plus if you look your fit inspo you will see that when most of the people there wear tights, they usually pair them with some nice buggier, drop crotchy type of long shorts. Which i think it works nice since most of those shorts create a more flowy/drapey vibe that adds to the avant-garde aesthetic.
I dont mean no disresect, just my thoughts. Love your content. Keep up the awesome work.

Fair points mate! I know that wieder pants generally look better and better match flowy outfits, I just feel so uncomfortable wearing wider pants. Guess I have to get used to that lol.. Thanks for the input!

Cool observations. This isn’t really “layering,” but there’s also the idea of mixing genres (which you do with tech wear + artisan). I accidentally discovered that my Visvim moccasins look cool with my 10sei0otto pants. And sometimes I’ll wear heavily worn American blue jeans with my Boris jacket.

Very good video, that first outfit that you showed with the ccp vest bag was really good, all the outfits you threw together were very good too!! Layering correctly especially when it comes avant garde/artisanal brands is what sometimes make an outfit. Also make a video on jackets/blazers!

the answer can be only be inside a forgotten mayan temple in the middle of the forest. It's extremely dangerous knowledge.

...great vid, like always! IMO you overthinking some topics ;-) and the BBS layering (i adore BBS, but sadly the last few collections, beside one, were really boring) is massiv inspired of WWII or (winter)war in generally and i wonder how thin you must be to fit in all the items!!! SRY but the 'schlafsack' vest or this ultra thick knitting pieces are really ridiculous if you wear them in public (except at an avant-garde party) you get highest attention, but in bad way...

    You’re right about that,
Just spend a lot of money and wear all black.
