I had a shift listening to “Harpy Hare” for the first time. I was sitting with my mate on a hill; listening to it again after a couple of months made me shift and after I woke up; I smiled after I realized what happened. :3
I’m a nature spirit so it reminds me of the times I missed before I was born on how the earth was fine with no global warming no pollution nothing harming the earth and my life source was always good. And before hunters try catching us
I grew up surrounded by nature. Little me would find wild rabbits and pet them, run with our dogs through fields that seemed never ending, and get as high up as possible just to watch the sunsets even if I couldn’t get down. The world seemed endless back then. If it wasn’t bolted down it could be overturned, if it was or wasn’t blocked off it was reachable somehow. Nothing was unclimbable. Nothing was out of reach. The only limit was the edge of the world and there was nothing in those limits with intent to hurt me. In my mind I was unkillable. Nature was always there for me. It shielded me as long as she could from the harsh realities of this world and the fact that I and my spirit are, in fact, able to be killed. And even after my little world of bubbles and rainbows was shattered by the people around me, I could still run to it for safety. Nature knows me. Nature sees me as I am with my flaws and holds me regardless. And now I am here. Sitting in my bedroom, hours away from my beloved fields, counting hours until the next time we visit them, and listening to this playlist. Thank you, kind stranger, for feeding my crave for those fields just a bit more.
