I totally get what the interviewer said about listening to “Breakaway” on the radio while driving his daughter to college for the first time. The same happened to me.. I was in my room packing my luggage, I was moving to Germany for my semester abroad and this song started to play on my phone. I was crying, and when I heard it I cried 1000 times harder ahaha
I went to that concert at The Greek Theater. It was amazing! She sounded amazing. She still has a great voice and is still super cute. I wish I would've plopped down the money for pit tickets so I could've seen from her much closer.

But actually, the way I see it, she got popular because she was being true to her music, feelings, and self. Not only FAME define a great artist, it’s about loving your craft and being true to your music, that’s who Avril is. And only true fans understand her for that.
