Lyrics:
Both our eyes are red
but you're high and I'm crying
You're trying to forget
but it hits me everytime
You pray next to me
right hand holds your left sleeve
turning our heads gently
because when it ends we fight
and in that warm winter
I withered
I just want to get better
I'll be what you like
And every letter of fire
you read me when im tired
makes me want to cry
Whose lord are you naming?
When you start to break things?
its my only life you hold
and when you left me waiting
I thought
Did you do it in the name of God?
Did you do it in the name of God?
I wake up in the evening, when the days already done
and i walk to the nearest store
just to see someone
And everything is black
your hands and my past
If i dont wake tomorrow
promise me you'll laugh
and in that warm winter
I withered
I just want to get better
I'll be what you like
And every letter of fire
you read me when I’m tired
is replaying as a choir
Whose lord are you naming?
When you start to break things?
its my only life you hold
And when you left me waiting
I thought
Did you do it in the name of God?
Did you do it in the name of God?
In the name of God
In the name of God
[Mustafa] will you put on henna today?
[Cousin Mahmoud] God willing
[Mustafa] Mahmoud, the boss.
[Cousin Mahmoud] ..I'm not a boss, Hamza is the boss.
[Mustafa] And what about you?
[Cousin Mahmoud] Me?
[Mustafa] Yes.
[Cousin Mahmoud] I'm nothing.
[Mustafa] You're nothing? Allah is perfect.
[Cousin Mahmoud] I'm just a human and a Muslim, a human and a Muslim.
[Mustafa] a Human and a Muslim.
"Whose Lord are you naming when you start to break things....... Did you do it in the name of God"
Such a humane sound... I was moved to tears
Allah has a name..His Name is Yehowah (YHWH יהוה)
Would you explain what he meant here in the lyrics?
"Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation".
This is Jesus' prayer and Jehovah's answer,
John 12: 28: "Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."
The name of Jehovah is glorified and will be glorified! :-)
A lot of believers await for the God's Judgment and do hate His witnesses...
"So, you're stating that you ain't prostitute, but the faithful wife of anonymous trinity of the Husband? I'm so sorry about that unfortunate misunderstanding, ma'am..."
The God sees and remembers everything then there will be the Judgment.
Exodus 20: 14: "Thou shalt not commit adultery."
Here is a Christ's question,
Mathew 15: 3: "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?"
Malachi 2: 1-4: "And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith Jehovah of hosts, then will I send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Behold, I will rebuke your seed, and will spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your feasts; and ye shall be taken away with it. And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant may be with Levi, saith Jehovah of hosts." (ASV)
A women say "the Husband has no name". Another ones say "the Husband has many names". Some of women "love the Husband in all his manifestations" like: neighbour, taxi driver, coworker, and so forth. Some women in a Husband-fearing way call him "H-D"...
But, all of those prostitutes say "the Husband is the only". Their prostitution has created another women saying "there is no Husband at all".
Then they even talk about "trinity of the Husband" and they are not against "the Son taking the Husband's place".
In the same way religious prostitutes try to hide their disgusting fornication with different gods.
Furthermore, a correct pronunciation of the Name is unknown now. This is the “loyalty” of traitors!
Here is the God's word spoken through Moses,
Deuteronomy 11: 16-17: "Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you."
So, the God says there are other gods, but blind leaders of blind lead people into trap.
Names of an idols/false gods are well known: Zeus, Rempha/Chiun, Aurora, Baal, Moloch, and many others.
"Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation". This is the name of Christ real christians are hated for.
"HalleluJah" means "Praze Jah" (Jehovah).
Psalm 83: 18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." (KJV)
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is liar and murderer. This is the reason why liars feel so good while righteous people are persecuted.
That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. He has anointed the king, Jesus Christ. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)
May Allah grant him amongst the highest levels of Jannah and give patience to you, the family and friends.
Sending you love from sudan 🇸🇩
But Allah has a name..His Name is Yehowah (YHWH, Yahu, יהוה)
@@andrewmoyn247
Actually the name is allah even in your torrah (allaha)
Aramia and arabic are close
I can't believe how much harder this hit, I didn't expect it.
I lost an old friend years ago, he was in Sudan, to some civil conflict (which are on full swing now).
we were both born in Saudi Arabia and lived in the same building, we were together until highschool, he went back to Sudan for University and I left to Jordan, he finished his MD studies and not long after, he got killed.
RIP Mutaz Abu Al-Hasan
I'm so sorry for your loss 💔
I’m so sorry for your loss I hope you're as well as possible ❤💔

The world needs so much softness right now. Thank you for this.
Such an emotional yet touching song. Not just about representing culture but holding the memory of a dear brother…may God be with you🙏🏾

i was in a car crash coming home from work Aug. 29th.. lady ran a yellow light & hit me.. was on the ventilator & woke up 3 days later. the sunshine touching my face is what woke me up in the hospital.
i have thanked God w/ all my heart since i have woken up. i am almost healed & will be having my last doctor appointment hopefully tomorrow.
i thank God for healing me, caring for me, giving me strength again to keep going & never let my mind get filled w/ doubt.
i have so many people i love that i have lost in my life at 27.. i miss them dearly. mustafa reminds me that it’s okay to miss & mourn. i loved them & still do.

i love the creativity and the rythm, and to all humanity suffering from violent and religious extremism from Nigeria to Sudan, from Congo to mali, from Palestine to Ethiopia, may PEACE REIGN in our HUMANITY!! with love from Nigeria.
I have cried and cried listening to this on repeat. If you have lost someone, you cannot help but share in the pain laid bare in this wonderful and poetic song. Thank you Mustafa.
By why are they dancing im just curious
From dust we came, and to dust we shall return. All praise to the most high
This is the most beautiful expression I’ve heard all of 2023. This makes me think of all our Palestinian and Sudanese Brothers and Sisters in this moment.
im no islam but watching this vids makes me question everyone does and claims is for God if truly they are for God
In an interview, he explained: "When my big brother was killed in what will always feel like yesterday, knowing the suspected murderer was someone he held as a friend, someone he prayed with-it led me to believe that maybe his love was his end?", This song really is about questioning religion and what violence people justify with it. It's a beautiful and heartfelt song. It moves me to tears every day. Especially in the northwest conflict, we forget that very few people lead to this much hate and violence, and pain, on both sides of the borders. Both affected groups are people who are experiencing this in the name of a god. Crazy and unjustifiable. This is not about one or the other religion. It is about countries and their leaders, and a terroristic group that used people's grief and confusion.
he looks sad in all his song, it's almost as if it's his natural look
@user-bz1uu6pp4qno need for rudeness . He just giving out information.
@@kathideicke5551you put that very well. Thank you
Mustafa, I am sorry for your recent loss of your brother, I keep cheering for you quietly in my corner of the world praying healing you will experience. This song transcends grief of many today, we are losing so much and people are suffering and dying in violent way for the sake of power, and there loved remains still here in this Dunya with a hole in there hearts.
It means a lot to know that there are kind souls like you who care, even from afar.
It is their and nor there

I’ve been a fan of yours since I heard Air Forces back in 2020. Your music brings out so much emotion out of me that I can’t help to feel like you have a gift. Because of you, I also am now studying Islam and learning about the beauty of the religion. You are an amazing human being.
This is so lovely to hear as a muslim. Mustafa really is gifted with turning something so painful into a medium of connection and beauty. I hope your search in Islam has brought you peace.
This guy…wow a real poet. The voice, the lyrics, the feelings… Everytime I listen to his poems I feel chills and it gives me hope.
MashaaAllah Mustafa.
Sudanese and Muslim pride.
Amazing work of art
I saw this song on someone's IG story last night. I memorized the name and told myself I'd listen to it later. Coincidentally, I broke up with my girl last night as well and I listened to this after. Oh mehn, I couldn't stop crying. The lyrics were so beautiful and heartbreaking. They summed up how i was feeling. I went on to listen to every song you ever put. Simply brilliant. Thank you Mustafa.

i have never heard of a song that touched my heart even more. the way that i wrote down every lyric i heard since i thought about every word so hard in my brain. this song brought tears to my eyes. words cannot explain this but the only thing i can say is mashallah
I am overwhelmed with sorrow and tear filled. Ive lost my dear friend this week.
Your words capture the essence of the challenges we face in our world today.
It's a difficult time, and your compassion doesn't go unnoticed.
Let's hope for healing and peace to prevail, bridging the gaps that sorrow and violence have created.
Your sentiment brings comfort, and I'm grateful for your positive energy.
Together, we can strive for a world where love and understanding triumph over suffering. 🙏"
Am a Christian but I found this song emotional, i beleve we can leave together in peace and understanding. Christian, Muslim, Palestinian, isreal, this world can be better with us. Peace...

We really needed this as a collective. It’s an elixir to help the grief go down. I’ve been playing it on repeat since last night and thinking about every lyric. Thank you so much for this gift, Mustafa, my heart is better off for it.
On repeat. I so relate with the tune, words, everything

This is a prayer needed! What many of our Mishpacha don't understand, and I would suppose vise versa as well (like, I can see how this thinking is probably mirrored on the side of my brothers and sisters of Islam) is that we are all sons and daughters of The Most High by way of Abraham/Ibrihim... what is being ignored and turned into war is what should rally us together! My prayers go out to Israel and Palistine! My brothers and sisters are calling out from the grave to "STOP THIS WICKEDNESS! STOP THE BLOODLUST! EVIL BEGETS EVIL! WE MUST PRAY, AND TURN AWAY FROM OUR SINS! WE MUST PRAY AND LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS WE LOVE OURSELVES! There is nothing more pleasing to The Most High than His servant be of obedient mind and of a merciful heart and a will that is for the Will of the Creator Himself. May it be, that on the day of Judgement, we stand together before the Glory of the Elohim/Alluhim and receive His Blessing! May it be, that when Messiah comes, we go to Him together! May it be, that we walk together against the darkness of this spiritual exodus from the materialistic and God-hating world. May it be, that we carry the light of His Love and Hope in our hearts to light the way in dark times. And may it be, that we always look to the other to make sure that their lamp* is full and topped off.
*the "lamp" is in reference to the parable of the Ten Virgins - but in this case, neither is letting the other run out of oil for their lamps.
Of course, what I said could all be summed up as idealogical hope, but is that so wrong to hope for? Is it so wrong for me to want true peace and true love in that I don't have to KNOW someone to love them or to feel deep compassion for them. While I consider myself Hebrew, I cannot fathom a world without Muslims nor would I want to be robbed from ever knowing of such a rich and historic culture and religion. There's too much to learn from these beautifully faithful people... there's so much to love! I am reminded of Joseph's rainbow cloak and how it was all the colours come together - and later, HE DID BRING IN A RAINBOW FULL OF PEOPLE! Myriads and myriads. THRONGS of people! Who all were they that Egypt fed during the 7 years of famine?
I'm just sending love and prayers. This song grips my very heart. I feel it. May the Mercies and Grace of Elohim/Alluhim be upon us that we might make Him proud with the love that freely comes forth from grateful hearts!
May we honour those lost, with love and not hate. HalleluYah Amein. Peace be with you, and may HaShem bless and keep you always.
Every time I listen to this song I cry. My heart opens, hears yours, receives the transmission of pain and love and strength and sorrow. No one escapes it. Thank you, dear brother for your depth and courage to be True.
Not religious but absolutely loving this. Seems like a message for healing but also can be applied to life in general.
Yes.
I can’t even put into words how this song makes me feel. Complete juxtaposition of feelings of sadness and happiness. Absolutely beautiful
This brothers ability to convey grief is so palpable to everybody whether you've lost a love ones or not. Keep it my brother!

This is one of my most favorite and most listened tracks so far of 2023.
Same... On repeat
Words don't express the loss of a loved one but these are pretty good ones. "When we shared a room I couldn't handle how little of it was mine, now we don't share a world, and I can't handle how little of it is mine, how much of it you took with you, how much of it I see you in."
Beautiful, mesmerizing melodies, always. The world has been ugly to you, but you keep making beauty. Thank you.
“Everything is black your hands and my past” brought me to tears. I lost my mom years ago this just makes me miss her but it is still comforting. what have you done mustafa?
Im every now and again reminded how much I love this city & where I came from. Beautiful. In tears reading that goodbye message
this is the only ad i let play through..sent this to a muslim Ethiopian ...old room mate of mine in college..he cried and thanked me...they used to mock that dance back in school...this was a validation..your culture can be cool too.. i say with confidence as a Nigerian.....and the message was what he needed right now.
