I saw the band last night in Cleveland at The Dead South Concert. Absolutely amazing. Great stage presence. You guys should have been the 2nd act.

This guys are old school. Dig that vintage Flatt and Scruggs sound. Bad ass suits complete with with Jake wearing a bolo tie. How cool. Sounds a little bit like "Rollin in my sweet baby's arms" from the early 50s.

Bill Monroe's 288 Acer Farm is located in Goodlettsvill about 45 minutes away from Nashville. A friend of mine Leroy Troy lives in Goodlettsvill as well, it's a mighty nice town! Nashville ain't so pretty!

Lyrics are weak in spots (2nd and 4th verses), but excellent in others.
Jake's got the right weak right knee of Hank and Ernie, sure has studied up.
For similar greatness, also consider Toronto's Backstabbers. Hard to find, but much more than worth the buy. Probably add years to your life.
That bass player seems heavily influenced by the Chuck E. Cheese band. If cartoon character was the look y'all were going for, you nailed it.
