The movie is absolute art, I really dont understand all the hate
I haven’t heard outright hate, but if were being nit picky, there were 2 things I didn’t like - dumbledore taught transfiguration, and McGonagall wasn’t alive. If we’re being broad, I thought leta’s reveal was a bit too fast paced, and that queenie’s turning was not justified in film. I love the twist ending in all scenarios except him turning out to be a brother, I don’t think that would make sense, but I like the idea of a cousin, step brother, or outright lie by Grindelwald.

a moment from harry potter i wish is in fantastic beasts is Luna. i want like an epilogue scene with Luna and Rolf. or a scene which proves nargles exists and Luna is getting an award from Newt or something.

NourAKA Wami J.K.R did say that the movies will take place from 1926-1945 and Tom Riddle went to school from 1938-1945, so there is a chance that we will see him.
if they only included riddle's backstory in the half-blood prince or maybe they could've split the book into two movies just like they did in the deathly hallows, we wouldn't be thirsting this much for atleast a mere scene of him 🤧

He did, but he said that he read a few lines and they called next. He claims he was terrible. Obviously it would have been awhile ago though, and now he's amazing!

He’s said in the past that he’s auditioned for all those major films that were basically The Who’s Who of British acting royalty or at least tried to audition, Harry Potter and LOTR included, but it’s just never worked out, but the thing is about the brutal world of show business is that sometimes the PERFECT role for you comes your way and it all goes from there and that’s what happened with Eddie :) he may not have been in the main vein of Harry Potter films but Newt and Eddie was a perfect match of material to actor, a precious cinnamon roll playing a precious cinnamon roll ❤️❤️

he was particularly mad that they didn't cast him as a weasley too, since he is an actual ginger hahahaha.
I love the three of them so much, their chemistry is sizzling. I wished they included that deleted scene, it would have been amazing to see Tina/Leta working together to save Newt haha. Also there's just something soothing about Katherine's voice that I really like to hear, like I can hear her speak for hours. Same effect when she's delivering her lines in the movie lmao

Funny how Eddie's standard as an excessive and ridiculous number of takes for a difficult emotional scene is as low as 9. He is so humble and devoted to his job.
I am not surprised he failed the audition as Voldemort (I assume he means young Voldemort, as he was a teenager or little more by the time the main saga was filmed)... he might be one of the best actors of our time, but he is still one of the cutest and most adorable beings that ever threaded this earth, he just can't be Voldemort.

@@jime3281 oh yes the McGonagall canon is screwing up. But lots of franchises have plot holes. And there's 3 more movies on the way. So stuff might be explained there. As for Grindelwald's lie. It may not completely be a lie. It could be Ariana's obscurial in credence after she died. Ohmygod this is messing up my brain 😂

I watched the movie yesterday and I tell you it was awesome. I AM SO OBSESSED WITH NEWT NOW. I want to meet newt now.... NOW!!! I get glimpses of the movie every time and it is so awesome especially the ending oh my gosh I died.

Idk what's the hate about.. I watched the movie and there are a few sequences and plot points which seem boring or unnecessary but I think that it was a good movie overall and I was baffled at the end of it. I think they'll all add up and leaving no loose ends.. maybe it's the fact that we don't have books here to know what the story would be.. the twists .. so it is what it is.. I trust Rowling.
yeah people complain about supposed plot holes, but at the moment they are just unanswered questions. We've got three more movies to go, people gotta have some patience.

@@pinklady051 well I don't know, but one theory I watched was a video by the Super Carlin Brothers, it's just a theory but it does bring up maybe scenarios. I don't know what the actual reason is though.
