Something else I just realized about Tyler Perry that's funny is that originally he's known as the man Hollywood rejected, so he built his own Hollywood in Georgia. Then now that Hollywood has disbanded and studios and actors are choosing a bunch of different places to call their new home, many are picking the Hollywood that Tyler Perry built as their new home. So one can say Tyler got the last laugh.
I work as a actor, stand-in, photo double and extra in the film industry. The studios are awesome! My favorite is Eagle Rock Studios where Ozark, Dynasty and Will Trent has filmed!
Wow, I didn't know there were so many studios here. It's crazy the amount of favorable tax incentives here in georgia that place it better than Cali. Especially when you add in the cost of living.
I am still shocked when I talk to people moving from California and hear what they are paying for rent. The possibility for them to own a home in California is slim.
@@ashleylazarian I actually just saw that when I searched up and found a video of Tyler Perry giving a tour of his own studio. Now we can probably guess where productions are going to film White House scenes. I wonder if that's where they filmed Royal Red, White and Blue? They guy also cleverly created a house that has four different sides so productions can use a large house with 4 different exterior designs depending on what type of movie they're making. I wonder how much did buying up that abandoned army base now his studios cost him? Was he able to pay for it using his Madea film money LOL.
Politicians have basically made California unliveable that even Hollywood don't want to live in it LOL. Like no exaggeration, there's various big name actors and Hollywood types who are vocal about trying to start a Hollywood 2.0 in another state. At the moment, Nevada, Texas and Georgia seems to be the favourites that people are eyeing.
@@jeffreylynch9646 I live outside the US, so I had to check out which ones are red states (I know that means it's a Repulican state) and I see while Nevada is already a blue state, but both Georgia and Texas are red states. Not just Hollywood, but a bunch of California businesses (like over a dozen) have relocated to Texas and Georgia looks to have the most studios of the 3, so yeah hilariously the two red states are getting the biggest influx of Hollywood and California businesses. The funny thing is that the California government likes to brag that California is the 5th biggest economy in the world making $3.9 trillion in 2023, well not anymore! Which is the reason those states are not going to say no to Hollywood and California companies coming to them. For example Elon Musk relocated both Tesla motors, which is estimated to have made $96.8 billion last year, and Space X, estimated to have made $4.6 billion last year, to Texas. Ain't Texas saying no to $100 billion dollars to it's annual economy. Ditto with Georgia. It's now becoming the favourite state to film in, and ain't Georgia saying no to all that Hollywood money. Also you might get your wish because I know other states like Louisiana are also getting a influx of studios being built. Looks like Hollywood are ditching the Pacific coast and eyeing the states with a coast along the Gulf of Mexico instead.
Curious about the real estate market in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA? I can help. Let's chat more at ashley@myhaventeam.com

Also holy crap, never knew Tyler Perry was so rich to have a gigantic mansion and ranch and his own film studios too.
Isn't it amazing!! His plans for a completely sustainable property is like non other.
He's got a replicate of the White House at his studio!

They don't have an option at this point! California has made it completely unaffordable for people to own a property. Even renting is hard for most.
They supposed it fools 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes it’s great! Continue to turn Georgia Blue! If we could make a little Hollywood in each of these Red states that would be fantastic!
