Howard was the only person in this show I felt was genuinely innocent. He is naive for sure, but has always done his best for the company and tried to be a good partner, even if it’s making the hard decisions. He doesn’t deserve the treatment and hate from Chuck, Jimmy, or Kim. And all three turn on him and stab him in the back.
Yes!! I think Kim can hold grudges against him because sometimes Howard was indeed harsh on her but by no means he deserves to be stabbed on the back or a tragic ending.

But, due to chuck he can’t interact with him, and also to a certain extent, he can’t let his firms own reputation go to shit if they knew how backwoods jimmy was. Howard is not a bad guy, he’s just as opportunistic as jimmy is arguably. Kind of feel bad for him in a way.
