Hi Fatima. Love your recipes! For this one though wouldn't cumin seeds give a more smokey spice flavour? Could you possibly be referring to fennel seeds (known as "shahjeera" in India) or caraway seeds which are used to give a light sweet anise flavour in cakes and sweet breads.
