If you go from Manali to Spiti , from Rohtang to I think kibber it’s more than 100 km of nothing ,like no human being/no settlement

It is always better to travel spiti in a circuit from shimla and come back from manali...
So true specially you can avoid altitude sickness with this route to quite an extent unlike the other route via Rohtang pass.

For your safety spiti had wrost hospital. In all himachal. There is no barear on high clif roads. And don't be racist. You say tibetan heaven. It becoming hell these days. There is mosquito since 2019 before ancient spitian haven't found such distinguish insect. Throwing all your used plastic everywhere. Our cows got murdered. With eating plastic. Safe spiti🙏

Don't drive from Delhi or Chandigarh, save the environment and try taking local buses!! It will be more fun.

Hi, what is the cost per night in kaza homestay/hotels etc
We planned to visit Spiti in 2018 ....went to Manali as per plan. But got stuck there due to the flood of September 2018... Sadly, had to cancel our Spit plan . However, we changed plans and went to Bir Biling (where I had my first ever paragliding experience) then to McLeodgunj. Enjoyed to the fullest, but have to visit Spiti ...it's a different world altogether !!
Haha reminds me of my Spiti trip in 2017 where a landslide made us change our route and we spent time enjoying Sangal valley/Chitkul..so stunning. I guess with mountains and Nature you just have to surrender.

I have driven all the way from Mumbai to Narkanda via, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Agra, Delhi, Manali, Shimla, and back.
We have driven many time Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar, Abu, Goa, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Shrinathji, Bangalore etc.

What is the ideal month to visit Spiti? Any suggestions are welcome...
You can reach Spiti all year round. Only thing is that Rohtang Pass s shut in winters-roughly Oct end-March. So if you decide to visit the valley then, in that case you will have to enter valley via Shimla-Kinnaur and retreat via the same route. Hope I was able to help. Please do watch Spiti videos I have put up on my channel too, Chopin they can help in some way.
How much time it takes from Manali by Bus ?
It takes around 12 hours from Manali to Spiti Valley by bus. But as of now the route is shut. You can access Spiti from Shimla instead

Snow starts melting in April or May... that's the best time to travel. July and August is the rainy season... due to landslides roads get blocked.

Dear Team Tripoto,
There's no rafting in spiti valley. I do suggest your content write to check on this piece of information and may be if you can edit this part from your end. It could be misleading to certain segment of tourist who doesn't really put in much effort into their research about the place. And will travel to Spiti valley with rafting in their minds. Which would in turn lead to 'little' disappointment upon reaching there.
Also, as travel content travel community it also doesn't give a really good impression about your 'facts' gathering/updates about a place.
