Hi! im transitioning from debut theme with lots of customized things to a 2.0 version. And i deleted the 404.liquid created the 404.json and the section template. but when i go to the customizer and select the 404 page nothing happens. it only reloads the homepage. is there something im missing here? thanks !
Question - How do you have the "Add Section" functionality on the customizer for Debut? In the docs, they mention that these new 2.0 features dont include in some of the older themes (that also cannot be upgraded to online 2.0 in the theme store). Debut is definitely one of them and I have tried it with my store (which has the sectioned vintage theme), and the only place "Add Section" is available is in the homepage. How did you get you Debut theme to have the 2.0 features working????
When migrating product.liquid there are two sections: product-template and product-recommendations. I have to copy the code from the sections to replace the {% section...} lines. But what do I do with the scheme from both, as each has "name" (and translations), "settings", "info" etc. I guess I can't have a scheme with two "name" sections as it will confuse things. Your advice would be most welcome!
Hello, I assume you're planning combine the codes from these sections to a one section file, no? If so, you can just combine the schema settings but you'll have to only have one name attribute/field for the schema tag. For the settings, all objects inside of the settings should be combined into one array. Same goes to other attributes like blocks. My advice, honestly, is you to not do this. I'd prefer you to just keep these sections as is, and then you can just reference these sections in the product JSON template. It'll save you a TON of work.
sir please make a video how to track shopify enhanced e-commerce with dynamic value via google tag manager. like product name, product quantity, product price, transaction id, total price, shipping info, payment info, etc

If you're using Shopify apps that add features to your Shopify themes, then I recommend contacting the developer of those apps to know more.

Thanks. I figured it out. In the json file I referenced the files with the schemas and avoiding having to merge them. Massive thanks!
