Bikepacking the Low Country day 2 of 3. Jay, Eddie, & Will take on the sand and swamp of the Palmetto Trail in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Trail End: Awendaw Passage Trail Head at the Buck Hall Recreation Area and Boat Landing

Day 2 Route Description //
The day started out with more tarmac, sand/gravel, & country road riding on the south side of Lake Marion.
As the sun rose, we rode under the canopy of several live oaks covered in Spanish moss.
Eventually, we cut back across a channel between lakes Marion and Moultrie to ride on the levee on the north side of Lake Moultrie around to our camp near the trail head for the Swamp Fox Passage.
