As a truck driver who was involved in a fatal accident I suffered injuries to multiple body parts and I have been diagnosed with ptsd arising from this accident. Will California worker’s compensation settlement cover ptsd as well as my physical injuries?

Mr. BBQ, I am so sorry to hear about this horrific collision. We see many people who have had PTSD from collisions driving for work. It can be very traumatic, especially when there is a fatality. There is a treatment that can help you get comfortable enough to start driving again and to address other symptoms. Workers comp definitely can cover psych injuries, but it is not always black and white for psych injuries. If you would like to discuss this more, please let me know.
      Take care,
      Naomi
