Did you mean to say "you didn't have to [disassemble] the sheet...."? And were you talking about the part that he began unscrewing at 1:40 and then actually removed at 2:24? If yes, then wasn't that part applying some pressure on that flex cable? That was what I saw, so removing it made sense to me. Thanks.

In another YT clip, that user did the same repair. I saw him remove a small, yellow, plastic sticker at the base of the flex cable of the LCD digitizer. Is this on every LCD digitizer, OEM and non-OEM and must it be removed?
I recently installed a non-OEM one and am seeing four, vertical bars in which the contents are moderately faded for everything displayed. These bars are perfectly lined up with the columns of icons in the app drawer. So, I am wondering if I missed removing a protective cover or if only the LCD digitizer I got is defective. Thank you.

E8000,B7000 or T7000 glue.Any will do.

buy with screen with frame alot easier you can do it by your self and not that expensive.

Has anyone found that their screen cracked very shortly after replacing it, I have changed many digitizers and this is the first screen that has cracked after replacement, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem...I am doubting whether it was me or the replacement is considerably thinner than the one that preceded it.
