I have stopped a month ago my services as a free ATM, free babysitting services, 24 hrs taxi service, nurse, cook, and more.
As soon as my services stopped I became the enemy, the mean one, the crazy one, to my relatives.
I feel free and I am enjoying it tremendously.
It doesn't matter if they don't speak to me ever again.
I feel blessed to have my own place with my pets, a small garden, a collection of my favorite music and great books.
I enjoy cooking for myself and I feel peaceful. I also have lovely and supporting friends. It is time to love and take care of myself ❤

A weakness, really? If someone is generous then I'd think it's because they can afford to be, or that they just haven't let themselves become corrupted and mean-spirited slowly over time. I've grown quite cynical now, but I am in awe of those who 'genuinely' practise faith and generosity. Some people may try to exploit them or betray and abuse them in the worst possible ways. But if they can get back up and continue to live generously despite the abusers, well............ I'd call that a major strength!

I appreciate this channel. It reminds me of my inner strength, and how much I've grown in my private stoicism. Last night my brother tried to tear me down with cruel words. At one time it would have decimated me. And I did get angry. But I also saw that my anger would only allow the pain to swell. So I thanked him for his judgement, knowing that it said more about him, than me. I know who I am. And I know my worth. And I saw that at almost 80 years of age, nothing was goint to change between us. He is almost 86, and there is no change possible for him, so I knew I had to accept that, and I also saw that I could release all hope of ever having a joyful and loving relationship with him. I prayed on it and my prayers led me to see that I could let go of my impossible dream. And it felt right. Sometimes letting go is the best path. This is what I came to.

So the insident has given me pause to search out the gulf that divides us. And to look at all the times I have overlooked and forgiven his hatefulness as flaws. But there is a time of turning away, if it's only to save my own soul from the curse of judgement on him. I don't want to judge him, to feel anything except the love my child-self felt, but to also see the danger of internalizing anger, and hurt for his cruel and reckless judgement and rejection. What is inside of him, is in him. I am sorry for his pain. But I have divorced him as a brother. Now, after deep introspection around the event. I find it is better to feel nothing than hatred. It's a shame we have to share such a beautiful world with hallowed out empty people, always needing to take, always needing to fill, what a nightmare that would be for me, to be someone or something that only knows to take. I explore and obsess over an amazing adventurous world of pure knowledge, contrast that with an empty soul and mind- always needing all the wrong things until their own fallacy is finally realized. All I can do is be able to prove everything all of the time.

Stoicism, with its timeless wisdom, offers a refuge of clarity, strength, and calm in the chaos that surrounds us. Imagine a world where more people embraced the principles of resilience, inner peace, and rational thinking - it would be a place where conflicts diminish, and human potential flourishes. Your words remind us how much the world truly needs this ancient philosophy to thrive in the modern age. A good video with good advice. A lot of people are takers and not givers, they don't appreciate your kindness and loyalty and keep letting you down, it's better to get these people out from your life, they will only keep disappointing you and upset you, be friends with people that care about you and where there is give and take and people that don't keep letting you down. Sometimes even if you talk to these people about these things that they have done to upset you, a lot of people will not admit they have done these things to upset you and if they do admit it and say sorry, you might give them a second chance, then they do it again and again! A lot of people do not change. They say a lot of people don't normally change after the age of about 30 when the personality is normally set.

some people go through life using peoples good will or kindness. Be very aware and be on a constant lookout for users. Select your friends wisely, be selective less is more.

I married one , he was a Mexican the sweetest, kind guy I thought you could ever meet, we got married and we had our ups and downs but nothing we couldn't work out , we'll 2 years ago he got his citizenship and ever since then all hell has broken lose , he has hardly nothing to do with me, he doesn't hardly talk to me , we have sexless marriage, he works 7 days a week and never no time for me . He acts like he hates me , it drives me insane. I will ask him if we are OK and he will say yes but his actions shows differently..... I don't want to think he just used me to get what he wanted but I didn't know what to think now .......

One has to be careful with sneaky predators, I have learned of many people who were conned into a marriage by a person from a foreign country, they wanted nothing more than to get full citizenship into the USA and or Canada. They played so cleverly pretending to love and concern until the day came where all of this was granted to them, then their true colors unfolded, their distance started and then came the its our relationship isn't working anymore I want a divorce. So if anyone out there is reading this be cautious about such a person, they will tell you s kind person all sorts of stories about how much they are in love with you. Whilst this could actually be true there might actually be and alterior motive beware. Best not to marry such a person until such a person is actually fully legal in the country. That way you will know for sure. But then there could be other issues, some people foreigners will also be using you for more than just getting into a country but also for a lot of sneaky snivelling just as the rats in a creek one has to be cautious. Kind people are usually the one getting robbed by sneaky people. Now however it doesn't have to be someone from abroad it can happen from just anyone to exploit your kindness for stupidity many people see kind people as stupid because they are not kind.

You are not anti social. You are selectively social. Trust your intuition. You’re protecting your time and your authenticity.
Accepting your desire for solitude is a strength. Some people have to be busy, busy, have a”million” friend on FB. How many truly meet the definition of “friend”?
Sometimes they are escaping their own company. They’re seeking validation outside themselves.
If people don’t seek me out, it could be because they know that I am done with the masks of manipulators and users.
In learning this lesson, I have been burned more than once.
I am slower in letting them into my life. I’d rather be alone than endure one sided relationships.
Validation comes from God and yourself. That is enough.
Enjoy your journey, it is worthwhile.
