- I decided to film my recent haul at Bónus super market here in Iceland. Bónus is the budget supermarket here and I bought a lot of frozen food this time. #iceland

Which supermarket is your favourite and why? Personally, I will go an extra couple miles just to go to a bonus instead as the price differences are to big to not go there.
@@nerk1807 Krónan because I prefer the product ranges and the variety of vegetables there and the prices are still reasonable
Interesting to see the prices of food items in Iceland Lauren. I too am veggie, I have never been able to eat meat or fish and being a child born in the 60's being a veggie wasn't as easy back then. I do eat a few meat substitutes but haven't had Linda McCartney products for a while. So next time I am at the supermarket will compere prices. The co op here have those compostable bags, but they are so flimsy they break easily.
I can imagine it was more difficult back then! A lot of the meat substitutes we have here are the more realistic newer brands which I'm not a fan of, so it's nice to be able to find Linda McCartney products here 🙂
Luckily the compostable bags we have here are very strong!
Ironically, the mid-roll ad in this video (by out favourite transplanted veggie) was for a brand of Beef Jerky!
Haha, got to love the algorithm 😂
Yes, the "lundir" are chicken tenders (so sayeth Google Translate, anyway!)
Thanks for confirming 🙂
