Good work & nice to hear a different test track. Something sounded odd with the subs at the beginning of the test. Almost like vibration from the rec-one coming un glued.
Very nice restoration! Also when the woofers break in they will sound even better! I like them!

I would of made the speaker enclosure with 45 edges ,not just slapping the parts of the enclosure together set your blade of your saw to 45 and cut all the pieces of ply so you can have nice 45 angles on the cabinet no slapping the parts together , to me thats the way the pros build enclosures i am very fussy when it comes to building speakers ,and the parts are all screwed together no nailing , what you did may took less time but its not pretty just some advice from the Speaker Doctor of Canada , so when you use nice plywood with real nice grains keep it nice .

The glue is what holds the cabinet together, nails and screws are just clamps, also a screw leaves a bigger hole that needs to be filled. If they were going to stain the cabinets I would agree with using 45s, but with paint grade plywood there’s no reason to
@@K-Effect the screws are hiden inside the speaker and can t be seen the out side is totally free of screws or nails , and yes glue is also used in moderation .

Good repair, but : _Where are the tweeters ? ;) these columns of medium are in high tension, do not connect the transformers, and instead of a medium, it would have been necessary to put a Tweeters
Bonnes réparations, mais : Ces colonnes de medium sont en tension élevée , il ne faut pas brancher les transformateurs, et à la place d'un médium, il aurait fallut mettre un Tweeter .
Their is no need of tweeters (Hf driver) these PA column Speakers are designed for delivering crispy voice announcement & Music.
These dual cone full range speakers mainly focus on producing Low- Mid, Mid-Range & High Frequency specially (150Hz - 15kHz) sufficient frequency range for human ears.
These column Speakers are designed for use in public address purposes in airport, railway station, conference hall, Religious Places, etc indoor outdoor application.
It can also be used as an Home Theater/Stereo systems satelite speaker but you have to use 100volt output amplifier.
100volt (High Impedance) system are commonly used for sending audio signal to a long distance area.
Suppose you have 500watt amp & need to connect 20watt speakers of 25 unit (column box) normal low impedance amp can't afford or connect due to ohm's calculation & limitations.
100v is a common & easy solution to connect several speakers installed at large space & travelling long distance, no worries of Signal power drop & no limitations of Ohm's matching, each Speakers built-in step down transformer supply the signal & voltage according to the number of speaker used in each box including ohm's matching between speaker & transformer.
Sounds great very crisp & clear high quality sound but there is only lack of High quality Low Frequencies transmission.
