I thought he chose the role knowing that he will be playing prince of Joseon who's gay, that would've been even more epic. But regardless of that, he did a great job portraying that character. So excited to see more of his works.

the prince isn't gay. he wants to be a woman. if he did, then he's a transgender. at the last episode, the queen calls him "daughter" and give him a pin that was specially made for the heiress

You should definitely watch it. I wasn’t going to bother either, but seeing clips here n there made me watch it and I wasn’t disappointed! I caught myself saying “YAS QUEEN!” So many times it became cringy bc I hate that phrase 😂
