Road Atlanta New pavement

A lap around Road Atlanta outlining the new pavement in the Chin Track Days Lotus being driven by pro driver Jade Buford. Chin was the first HPDE group to run on the new pavement after it was complete.

Too bad they didn't pave the whole track like VIR has recently done. The back stretch is pretty bumpy for high powered cars and can seriously affect grip in turn 9 at 150mph.

It is much improved now. I just came off RA this past Friday and it was pretty smooth and definitely had grip. They even put a nice concrete patch in turn 12 that makes for a nice aiming point to set up the apex. Overall I'd say the track is in pretty good shape after the repairs from petit le mans.
