I've NEVER seen a steam locomotive so high polished before. That's some shine - it's mirror-like! And the locomotive itself is beautiful. Seeing how beautiful and shiny the T-1 class steam locomotive is makes me proud that I own an Overland Model, Inc. HO scale brass version of it! My model is in mint condition - never taken out of it's box and still in it's factory paper and plastic wrappings. Untouched for approximately 34 years. AMAZING!! It's GREAT seeing the real thing in action in your outstanding video. The real T-1 looks AWESOME! WOW! 😳 😲

Good stuff Jillian! An excellent series of angles - I watched the whole way through!
I really liked the unique perspectives around the wye in Jim Thorpe especially.
Always good to see you, your dad and your brother out railfanning. You caught a bit of me in the video (near the cab of 2102) at the Port Clinton shops in the beginning!

Your daughter has some very impressive filming skills, some of these scenes almost look like a shot right out of the 1950s, perhaps a Korean War-era troop train (the Reading T-1s like 2102 were assigned some troop movements after they were built, they were too late in 1945 for World War II work though). The only thing that makes it a bit unrealistic is the different colored streamline cars at the back of the train. Thanks for posting this amazing footage.

Wow, the 2102 isn't much taller than the SW8 at all, short for a modern steamer. Good stuff

The Reading didn't redo its loading gauge like Erie, C&O, NKP, and other roads to go to the taller 15' tall equipment. But it didn't need to either.
