"The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers" Season 2 Red Carpet Interviews and Premiere Event at Honda Center

- Season 2 of Disney's #TheMightyDucksGameChangers debuted on September 28th on #DisneyPlus. The cast and creative team celebrated the launch at the Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, playing the season premiere on the jumbotron before the game. The cast also made an appearance on the ice during the game. Before the big event, we got a spot on the red carpet where we talked to the stars of the series, including Lauren Graham, Josh Duhamel, Maxwell Simkins, Sway Bhatia, Luke Islam, Dj Watts, and Naveen Paddock. Am I the only one extremely troubled by this season? The Mighty Ducks was hands down my favorite series when I was young. When this new series started, I really enjoyed it. But I feel like they have turned into the absolute worst. Evan started up the team because he loved hockey more than anything, but was told he wasn’t good enough. Because of his determination he was able to recruit the new Ducks, and inspire them with his passion and dedication. They came together and beat the team he wasn’t “good enough” to be on through hard work and love of the game. He gets accepted with his team into his dream hockey camp. None of them want to be there, and make this known. They haven’t practiced ONCE at all, and somehow have lost all passion and ability. He still loves the game, and is still just as passionate as he always was. Because he chooses to participate at the camp of his dreams, they treat him as though he is a sell out. His mom doesn’t pick him for HER team, and they hold it against HIM. They make him hate himself and force him to choose the love of the game that he has had since day 1, or them. His girlfriend decides to completely change who SHE is, blames HIM, accuses him of being a sell out, and immediately hooks up with another dude. His best friend makes him feel like he is awful, and forces him to choose between being banned from playing or going to his pathetic birthday party. None of them have even tried to do literally anything hockey related at the HOCKEY summer camp. Now they decided they are finally going to practice, and want to bring him down because the coach of the “winning” team picked him. He is the only one who hasn’t changed, and is working towards his goals and what he loves. They not only refuse to support him, but all band together against him. His skates had an enormous hole in them, and he couldn’t wear them. Then his coach gives him a new pair, because his mom wouldn’t replace his skates, and he is a sell out?! I am absolutely disgusted with this season, and his “friends” and even his mother. They are just the absolute worst.
It’s terrible. It’s not funny. The writers you can tell have zero hockey knowledge and have no desire to learn about hockey. I watch it to make fun of it. It’s super easy to make fun of because of how poorly written it is.
I just think this season is bad. The first season they wanted to start their own team because Hockey was so competitive and they just wanted to have fun. This season they are going to a Hockey camp across the country with pros? It is a 180. I think they are just trying to write around Emilio Esteves. I am not watching it LOL
