Kool Dood remember the movie Scarface ? Almost everybody loved it. Most people love crazy stories of things that people did and happened to them, idk how to explain it but it’s just interesting, the mystery of it all. My opinion is all humans are bad and think of crazy things at some point in their lives but never do it because of morals and ethics they have constructed in them witch it good for society. So just seeing how someone’s life is freaked up and in a world or turmoil pain and sorrow we sorta have some sympathy for these type of people and what they been trough what they saw as kids and what motivated them to be the way they are. In my opinion it’s pretty sick that people could be entertained with these stories even me. I usually like watching documentaries about psychopaths and the way their mind works and what pushes them todo the things they do. I know it’s sick but hey I feel like all humans are sick in some way we all have a dirty mind but we filter things so people won’t think we are so crazy but we are, it’s a social thing. Hopefully you understand because Sometimes I suck at explaining things lol. I’m not going to lie bro I agree with you that these people are trash but they still have a heart and need to vent and let these things out cause they have nobody to talk to that will actually listen, maybe a change can come and they can change their life. I myself I watch these videos because I am a recovering addict and just seeing this makes me not want to go back cause it reminds me of the pain sorrow I had doing drugs. Running away from reality and running from myself.

I swear my mind pops when I think about how much time ( hundreds of years maybe? ) and progression would it take for humans to get to that point of having common sense and literal human decency. Idk. @@iJuanGutierrez i sometimes watch documentaries about sociopath too. They're filmed to educate the public and people do wonder why people do the things that they do. These kinds of documentaries are teaching tools for doctors, psychologist, police officers etc.

I have been binging all the Johnny interviews, amd he is by far one of the best guests mark has ever had. Love this guy!! He def needs a book, or some kind of documentary, or series, or even just speak at schools amd other drug education classes for people in trouble or tryin to leave the life.

Alot of people could talk down on the life style. But what Johnny is saying about youngsters is the truth. If you come from an affiliated family. You're automatically affiliated. In the family, on the block, in the world. Its easy to become a product of your environment easier than applying for credit card. I bet you, take a kid from the suburbs, put him in the hood and see what he turns into.
Generational curses are hard to break. Its like a thousands waves pent up against thin glass. Once you're able to break the cycle, that's a whole other curse that comes with the gift. You will become shunned not only by your peers but from your own family. The people who instilled that loyalty into your soul now become disloyal to you because you're elevation or growth or lane switch was seen as disloyalty. Life ain't fair, not one bit. We don't get the same opportunities. But we all get opportunities. Atleast, Johnny is here to testify because alot are on drugs, in prison, dead or worse, repeating the same mistakes.
Its all survival in the ghetto. But to those who read this, if you're making it out the ghetto or hood. Just now, once you do. It's okay to step out of survival mode. You won't become soft. Just chill. The post trauma of making it out the ghetto is real. Once you make it into a well maintained neighborhood, you will have a feeling like life is completed but will still be haunted by the past that will beckon you to comeback. Don't. Help those who want to be helped. But if family is holding you back from prosperity. You gotta do whats best for your seed, even if you don't have one yet. Put your faith in God. Thats the only power I had walking around in Fresno and Sacramento. Never had to use a gun or walk around with one. The ole ladies from the Macedonian church down the street really helped save a soul. I always wondered why they always wanted to talk to me. I wish you guys peace and prosperity.

I get that we're all products of our environments and I thank God for my mine.
Money was scarce growing up. We had lots of hand-me-downs but my parents did their best to lift us up and encouraged us. Like Johnny's grandma tried to do for him.
None of us kids ended up wealthy in a monetary sense but our days hold more smiles and humor than they do heaviness. (Some days are better than others but you get my drift.)
I wonder what kinds of great things this handsome, charismatic storyteller might have done if the other voices in his childhood weren't "louder" than his grandma's.

I lived there in his neighborhood, The Seekers Side, until I was 6. Then we moved out here to Fontana where I grew up and became who I am today. If I would’ve stayed there on that block, I for sure would’ve ended up either dead or in prison like my cousins did...one is in Federal Prison behind that gangs RICO indictment and the other was killed there in the mid 1990’s.
