I have similar situation with Corepunk. Ashes and T&L are already out.
Ashes of creation is really my last hope for mmos. Especially because it's highly focused on player interaction and is not another online single player game
I was going to recommend OSRS until I reached the end of your comment lol. Yeah OSRS is exactly that, a single player online game. In a nutshell you just go around doing content by yourself and you flex to others in the game your dedication to the game by wearing prestigious things, assuming your an iron anyway. If you're a regular account in RuneScape gear etc means nothing because you can just buy bonds and p2w everything.
Given that it's never coming out and there are a lot of games that fit this bill better...
Have you played everquest? It was the first MMO that focused on player interaction. You can play project 1999 (Original Everquest) for free.
that and riot mmo, they know how to make good games and seems like they have a good team

@@skydriver5709 lol the world wont fall apart it will just have more ai integration and more people on wellfare(universal basic income ) because people will have no skills or be too lazy to replace a robot that can do the same job but no down time or cost less. maybe... in theory... hope not..
@@shadowcoffee7661 I think we're pretty close to another major terrorist attack, possibly cyber, or global war that's most likely going to affect power grids and unrestricted internet access. Those things are pretty damn fragile.

I'd like to see more of the Tulnar. We've seen very little of them especially their character creation.
My guess is they want to save them for an expansion like update
I love how they try and make it like player housing at this level is something new or special... Clearly have never played Star Wars Galaxies where we had whole player cities fully customizable.

@@Syrena-rf6qw Alpha 2 is releasing this year, and then beta 1 and beta 2 are coming before release, based on the fact that alpha 1 was on 2021 i'm going to say that it would be easily dropping in 2027, 2028 or even 2029... Yeah, a lot of time sadly xD

My expectations quite literally, don't exist.

Do you all think alpha 2 will be compatible with PRAYDOG UEVR INJECTOR MOD as games developed with the Unreal Engine can be compatible with this virtual reality pc mod? Might make parts of the game's experiences, for me, more enjoyable if I'm able to optionally experience some of them in VR

This is our only hooe for a massive and incetivuzed open world pvp title following in the footsteps of Dark age of Camelot and Lineage 2 and not just some instanced player count capped small/medium encounters that ESO/New world marketed as massive incetivized pvp mechanic ....

Timed shield blocking, timed dodging. Would be great in an MMO for fun action gameplay. With a stamina meter.
Where are the mounts and the boss fights? The skill trees? The loot? Why should we play this game?
How many years does it take to make a game. Seems ridiculous, aren't they saying this won't be out until 2025. Didn't they announce this game in 2017?
Like i said, the player character movement needs to be improved. The back walk should have significantly lower speed than forward. Similar case for running diagonally should be a little less than running straight. This makes strafing and turning around and running more impactful.
Also the animation from movement to a stop needs to be shown physically by player leaning forward, slight flail and then stop. Similar case for stop to movement should be a windup of character. I hate to bring it up but gw2 does an amazing job with this. Every movement has windup to it. Small race's player have to do a flip to jump and they flail their hand around if they go from running to a stop etc. I think ashes should have at least that kind of standard for animations because it gives the races a lot of flavour because each race moves a bit differently animation wise but are exactly the same speed and performance wise, only the look is different.
I really just need to find any MMO. Played wow for years and I’m over it. They all have pros and cons but damn. It’s rough.
They should little bit faster.. Its development since 2017. We cannot wait anymore cmon.

I really hope AoC does well, but im highly skeptical. Pvp seems too sporadic and not well developed. Pve being partially hindered by pvp will turn off a lot of players. Unfortunately, i see a well made game with horrible basic fundamental game design.
