First time a Kpop group was ever featured in a major Hollywood production. Lol... International fans HATED Rookie, but it was a massive success in Korea. Rumor has it the video mocks the recent impeachment of President Park. It makes sense, as there are a lot of visual clues. But it takes a long time to explain if you don't know the story. And yes,I highly recommended checking out the "300 × 2" Live performance of Red Flavor. Yes, a song this upbeat and joyful can make you cry.
Whoa!! - what an achievement 🙌🏽 I'm so proud of them- and the first K-POP group as well. They really deserve all the praise, they do SO much and not just so much.. they do it all brilliantly - it's really inspiring. I dont understand how anyone can hate Rookie -- the instrumentation shook me - not to mention the crisp vocals.. I would give anything to hear that song live gosh... okay ive got that on my list now thanks - as well as the live orchestral version-- i feel like im going to burst into tears - by the time Wendy sang that last phrase in Red Flavor i just couldnt hold back tears. Not at all, the only problem you will have listening to Red Velvet is the sheer size of their discography means your next fav will be just around the corner. Love your reactions to Red Velvet, which is why we need your help. Red Velvet are amazing but SM their company are utter 💩They cannot promote this group to save their lives, so it falls to us as Luvies to do SM’s job for them 😡 Red Velvets manager in a bid to clear up Irene not resigning with SM and disbandment rumour (which of course SM remained totally silent on) mean the rumour mill was spinning out of control. So their manager confirmed Red Velvets 3rd full album will be released in November. What I’m asking is for you and anyone like you who has ears 👂 to promote the 💩 out of Red Velvet and big up their comeback. I will be taking to social media, which I don’t even have accounts for yet, to promote our girls hard. Then maybe, just maybe, these goddesses will get the comeback they deserve. Thanks for the entertaining and enthusiastic reaction! I was lucky enough to see Red Velvet in July in London and I cannot recommend seeing them live highly enough. It's one of my favourite concert experiences, and getting to see and hear the members harmonise and hit those notes they hit in person is just incredible. As you note, they maintain the energy throughout the whole show which really is packed with song after song with choreo and challenging vocal parts...until they got to the encores and raised the energy levels even higher with Zimzalabim! It's quite the experience, being part of 12,000 Red Velvet fans dancing, jumping and chanting zimzalabim in unison while Seulgi is running around the stage hyping the audience up to even higher levels before dropping into Joy's part and then her own on the bridge... Tldr: if you get the chance to see Red Velvet live, go!
