When fitting with the rigging screw it needs to be extended 50% after installation of forestay. You can count the turns fully extended to closed before putting everything together in order to determine halfway. Shrouds and backstay will most likely need to be adjusted in any case.

simple error to avoid .. we secured the drum up the foil a little in order to have rigging screw accessible when attaching to stem head. When all was done and the crane away, realised that the drum orientation was 180 deg out. There are 5 flats on the hardware, not 6 ...

can someone at Furlex please make a video about how to replace a damaged foil.
I have recently picked up a catalina 30 tall-rig with a Furlex 200s and the halyard swivel jams about 1/3 of the way up.

6:50 It's not shown very clearly how the outer wires are untwisted. Use a flat screwdriver to pry out 2 or 3 strands and the rest of the strands will unravel. Or you could use pliers and gently turn the end so the outer layers will come apart. Slide the wedge onto the core and twist wires the other way by hand and they will close. Also it's best not to bend wires when installing Sta-lok terminal. Follow Sta-lok instructions available online or look up Drake renewing rigging on YT.
