Has anyone else’s passenger seat bottom cushion broken off the frame? After about 5 months, the screws that hold the bottom cushion to the frame ripped out little chunks from the plastic seat base.
Hey guys can you look into that comment about the gauge cluster flickering what's up with that is it like looking at a video that LED lights or a computer screen that keeps rolling because of the picture. I hope you know what I mean by that.
Love my 6x6! My only complaint is the non greaseable A Arm bushings that squeak constantly if I don't keep them sprayed with WD40. Add a couple bucks to the price off the machine and install grease fittings for crying out loud. Something I hope Polaris has fixed.
Chad Van Orden The Polaris is more powerful and has a better ride but the maintenance is ridiculous. The Honda will last longer and be less of a headache.
2500 lbs towing? Not without some kind of braking system. It ain't the driving, it's the stopping. I recently shopped for and bought 3 new Can Am's. When comparing, I looked at build quality and things like a-arm thickness, design and weld quality. Polaris build quality is no where near that of Can Am. We have 2 new X-3's and the new 2019 Maverick Sport 1000R and compared to my kid's Polaris, night and day, the quality of Can Am is readily apparent. Even the plastic quality of the Can Am is far superior.
Polaris: Great suspension Okay engines Horrible transmissions The CVT is the life of a Polaris side by side and it’s a short and expensive one. Buy a Yamaha.
FRANK RUSS I’ve seen way too many Polaris transmissions break and fail. The Yamaha CVT is the best out there imo. Especially when used to the max out hunting on barren Alaska tundra where I use them. The Polaris’s break so often I honestly don’t know why people even buy them still. They’re okay on flat tamed trails with the family but that’s about it.
Ill keep this post updated on my 18 xp1000. and I know of another 900 with 14000km mud snow on its second belt. 90% the driver lol they are a fram and light trail sxs. I had 2013 brute force 750 8000km original belt on 28s and i fucking drover. Nothing... absolutely nothing i had to do other the oil changes. Poeple told said they were junk tho?
Junk I had 6 rangers and been good expect the 2018 1000 front end just whining loud and they don't stand by it and fix it's brand new not happy I been polaris owner fir many many years but e looking else where
Just made my mind up there will be a new ranger in my Garage next week
961blackwolf already got one 😂😂
Hope you got a nice big fat bank roll too,, they ain’t cheap!
@Mudwalker ATV What kind of problems have you encountered with Polaris? Please specify.
I forgot to add, As a subscriber, I do LOVE your videos, especially the travel ones.
At first glance i thought that was a Canam Defender, the short front end, i like the Canam Defender XMR but it does need a 100 hp
Polaris ranger is a pickup??
Dirt Trax should do a review on the textron prowler pro xt, looks like a good machine.
Watch minute 4:54 instrument panel flicking on and off?
I think it’s a sensor?

They should make a 6x6 again.

drill, tap, install grease fittings.
I see alot if people say it throws belts like no other
Who’s c5 corvette is that?
What a fantastic review. Thank you! I just traded my 2018 Ranger Crew on the redesigned 2019 Ranger Crew.
xp1000??
I’m looking at buying one. Are they worth it?
It will get worked hard. Or is Honda better?
Chad Van Orden The Polaris is more powerful and has a better ride but the maintenance is ridiculous. The Honda will last longer and be less of a headache.
Nice review but I still like the Kawasaki or Yamaha.
Hey Dirt Trax could you guys do a top 10 off-road vehicles under $1000
Thats impossible.
Heard this Ranger broke by the end of this commercial.
what kind of problems have you encountered with Polaris? Please specify.
All UTV’s should have unlocking rear diffs! And UTVs with unlocking rear diffs should be street legal!!
Price?
All MSRP pricing is available by country on the Polaris website.

If you love Can Am so much why are you watching this Polaris video?
I am impressed with the updates and improvements. I honestly do not see similarity between the style of the new Chevy and the Ranger.
I want one
Won't be buying one until they replace the junk reverse chain. Broke too many in our 900.
Forgot to mention the junk Chinese carrier and wheel bearings too.
Wheel bearing greaser and grease. Do mine every 1000km
highlifter models have a gear reverse. they just need to start using it in all of models
You can see the screen in the gauge cluster flicker on and off towards the end of the video. Typical polaris.
Sit in a Honda 1000 Pioneer and sit in a Ranger and ask yourself which is more comfortable
This Ranger is. Seats are really nice.
Literally was gunna comment that lol
I don’t want the one that’s more comfy. I want the one that’s going to last 30 years if taken care of properly.

Horrible transmissions

Buy a Yamaha.
Second that. Waiting for them to put the 850 in the Viking.
7k miles on mine without any problems, lets see how your Yamaha is doing when it hits 7k.

Oh sorry I did the front brake pads at 6000km! Lol
Polaris must have spent a lot of money on research and bribes, I mean design
Junk I had 6 rangers and been good expect the 2018 1000 front end just whining loud and they don't stand by it and fix it's brand new not happy I been polaris owner fir many many years but e looking else where
They tale about can am what about Yamaha oh yea they won’t cuz Yamaha is the best!!!!!
Just wait for the recalls. From an unsatisfied polaris owner. Terrible quality imo.
What kind of problems did you encounter with Polaris? Please Specify.
If you keep comparing the Polaris ranger to a Chevy I'm not gonna buy one lol
