Love your channel, even though I don’t have any trains at age 64 my wife and I live full time in a motorhome so I get my train fix on your channel, brings back memories of when I was a child playing with my dads Lionel steam locomotive,it had little pills you would put in the smoke stack to get the smoke affect!
Another awesome video Chris! I love how excited you got. It really shows how much you love this hobby. It’s really cool that you and Jason got to hang out and enjoy running trains. Thanks to both of you guys for inspiring me and others. 🚂🚂
A really awesome recap of your visit to Jason's layout and that special MTH 44 Tonner dragging 18 double stack freight cars, Chris! You've got a very powerful little loco! You two should collaborate more often (when feasible) as another fan has suggested. You are both in a special class of layout video producers that I enjoy watching and listening to for your quips and comments. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Tom for your support! We will be making more collaborative videos and I am hoping to get Jason out for a visit to my layout next. And that little 44 Tonner surprised me!
Really enjoyed the video. It looked like you two had a great time. I liked that C&O 44 tonner, very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing your train weekend with us. Bill B.
Hey, Chris. It was awesome to see you on the livestream at Jason’s! I loved it so much that I watched it again. I might even watch it again. You guys are my favorite “O” gauge guys to watch on RUclips and it was just pure awesome to have you guys do a livestream together! Can’t wait for Jason to visit you to do another livestream together.
Thank you Jim! We will likely keep some of the combined shows going. Had too much fun and too many great train topics to talk about. Thanks for watching!

Chris, I have not been on the RUclips as much as I would have liked this past year or so dealing with some unexpected health issues, but I still have no excuse for not watching my two favorite train guys together in one video! I have watched Jason, like your channel, since the beginning. I might add this to your video about the health of the model train industry, Jason alone is keeping the industry going with a layout that encompasses about 3 of mine…might have to add a second level to mine where the train just drops off the second level onto the first level and pray it hits the tracks and not the Menards Taco Bell 🥴
I enjoyed the video very much. Jason’s layout really does look massive. I still love your MR Rogers moments the best. ( When you talk to the trains on your side like MR Rogers did with Trolly.)
Great video Chris! Me, Eric, Jason Ns Nick have started around the same time. All with O Scale. I told Eric's Trains that all of us were the start of the O gauge RUclips channels and to see how modelers' channels grown and expanded to hundreds of us! Jason and I recently reconnected after I revamped my channel around my train business and I converted back to HO. I still have some of my o gauge collection and I will put out a video soon. I hope to meet yall soon. You ought to Arkansas and ride the A&M excursion. We can set up a date this year since I work for them. Keep it up! - Joey
It is incredible just how many model railroading channels are out there. You all started something great by taking to the platform and creating the genre! Thank you for all you do Joey!
I really love you guys. I just join my first O Gauge Club . I do have one request from you guys could you make some videos about your wiring. You layout looks so neat I sure would like your secrets. So I could make mind better thanks Mark
Thanks for watching Mark and great suggestion! Jason has some really interesting wiring and has been working through a video idea on how to better explain it. I agree that those videos are helpful!

Hey guys enjoy you both,I’m actually gearing up to build a new layout .I am in the process of designing it on scarm. My room to work with is going to be 28x40 ft and I am going to go all out.I noticed on all these train channels nobody ever talks about what it costs to build a set up like you guys,I’m not talking about scenery part ,just bench track and power. Is that something you guys would be willing to do?I guess a good example would be what both your layouts would cost so people could really know what there getting into Thanks fellas
You are going to have a huge layout! What an incredible space. Estimating total cost of ownership for a layout is tough as everyone's layouts are so different and the amount of materials used varies from layout to layout. I completely agree with you that it is a topic that deserves more attention as this helps with planning and scale of a layout during the initial design phases. Thanks for watching and enjoy the build of your new layout Patrick!

Awesome to see my two favorite train RUclipsrs together. Maybe some day I’ll start my own channel about my layout. Does the GE 44 Tonner have 2 motors? Are its motors any smaller than the ones in the larger MTH diesels? While the real life engines would have different pulling power I would expect the MTH engines to all be pretty similar if they have the same CAN motors & they all have traction tires. Maybe some differences in gearing could affect that. It would be an interesting experiment to compare pulling power of different engines.
You should share your layout here on RUclips as well! The 44 Tonner has two motors. I would need to open it up to see how the motors compare to the larger diesels but this engine can pull despite is size and weight! Thanks for watching Hybridbear!
