Your system of teaching is unique as Vietnamese people and most teachers speak at a furious pace, way too fast for foreigners. You are the first person who understands this problem and I understand you 100%. Thank you and I will follow every lesson.
thank you! I'm glad that you like it
This is amazing! After half a decade in Vietnam, I may actually learn the language!
I'm happy that you like it. : )
Best teacher, cutest teacher as well 😊
I could listen to your voice all day. It's so cute.
Thank you for your kind words! I was afraid to make people falling asleep :D
Tôi cũng thích ăn ở các nhà hàng thuần chay và chơi trò chơi Catan. Cảm ơn bạn vì những video này. Tốt nhất trên RUclips!

This is excellent. Very very helpful and much better than other vids I have seen online.
Wow, thank you very much for such a lovely video lesson. I was unsure if I ever could learn Vietnamese one day. Currently I live and work in Vietnam and I need the local language a lot. I was looking for video materials to improve my pronunciation, because sadly nobody understands my Vietnamese here. Now I believe that I have found the best material ever. Good job, please keep on creating excellent video lessons for beginners like me.
Thuy, this is real slow Vietnamese.
Love this tempo.
Hopefully you will make some more nowadays.

Thank you for another great video, I watched on 0.75 speed and use the subtitle options to translate. I am very much a beginner but I have started to recognise some words that I know and attempt to translate in my head before translating to English. You are also helping with my pronouciation. Slowly, I am improving with your help. Much love form an Englishman currently in Da Nang.

You remind me of Hugo an online French teacher Innerfrench podcast. I am also slowly learning French. Thank you. Thank you. I just moved to Danang. Maybe see you in Hoi An. ;)

@@SlowVietnamese you are so sweet to reply. I wish you good health & success.
@@chibk4458 I really appreciate all the feedbacks : ) I wish you the same and have fun learning Vietnamese.
I am a Buddhist Monk from India. I really want to learn vietnamese Language. After few years planing to visit vietnam. if possibles then please guide
How can you describe the difference in the Ha Noi dialect that you are speaking and the Hoi An dialect of the locals. As I mentioned, I am learning the Vinh dialect and I think that Vinh is near Hoi An.
It's very different, both pronunciation and vocabulary. They change the pronunciation of vowels in many words( IE: "ba" => "boa"). You can read more here:

@@SlowVietnamese The link did not give me the entire book, just a synopsis of each chapter. However, it looks like you are living near Vinh. Is that true?
@@larrylenard3282 not really, Hoi an (Quang Nam) is quite further down. The culture is also different
Chao. Do you know anyone who teaches the Vinh dialect? Cam on, con.
sorry unfortunately I don't know :/
Tôi vừa mới đến kênh của cô. Tôi đã học tiếng Nam Việtnam. Tôi rất khó hiểu tiếng Bắc Việtnam. Việc cô nói chậm về tiếng Bắc Việtnam rất hữu ích đối với tôi. Người Hội An có nói tiếng Bắc Việt không?
Người Hội An nói giọng Quảng Nam ạ. Giọng Quảng Nam không giống giọng miền Nam, giọng miền Bắc. Chỉ có người Quảng Nam hoặc người sống ở đó có thể hiểu giọng này.
Can you learn to swim in college?
haha no we didn't. People usually take private swimming classes if they don't have someone to teach them.
I'm confused. Why don't you also offer the subtitles in English? (Not hating, just think it would be very helpful to follow along.)
I always make Vietnamese and English subtitles for all videos. Please check in the subtitle option to choose. The reason I made it optional cause maybe some people just want to practice listening without subtitles.
