God bless that biker for trying to save that dog.
Lots of GOOD people here in California
It’s nice to see there are still awesome people on this planet! 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
Yes, this is so sweet and got me cry a little bit.

Poor baby. I am so thankful for the new owners & all who helped rescue him.
Thank you to everyone who rescued this sweet boy, saved his life, and found him an adoptive family. And thank you to the wonderful adopters who are giving him a loving home and family! 💝
Much thanks to the folks who stopped to rescue. So many people just drive on or will just run over it.
I know. I’ve stopped & helped many strangers look/find their lost fur babes. Especially in traffic! It’s very frightening...esp for the poor dog!!! I could never just keep going! ♥🐾
When we sow compassion toward every animal from every species in every corner of this earth, we reap compassion for ourselves and others.
May Compassion expand.
Best humans, those who helped and this great couple who adopted!
What a cute dog! Glad he has a *fur* ever home now! ☺️🐕
That’s one of the most cleanest, homeless dog I ever seen in my life
lol this is what i always tell my mom our white fluffy dogs at home always end up dirty and crusty even tho we clean a lot. But the homeless dogs I've seen are clean and healthy!!
it was wearing a collar and leash while on the highway. that was someone's pet that got loose, and now that coupl has someone else's dog.
@@W.J.M. thats exactly what i was thinking that dog is not a stray
He had a leash on him so he must of gotten lost from so one
@@W.J.M.it’s apparent the owners didn’t come forward to get their dog. The shelter holds them for a few days before even giving the dog to a foster.
Freeway should be his name.... glad to know that he has new parents ❤
Great idea ❤
Yeah, to be reminded of the hellish day you were put through - wonderful!
So glad you guys got him. Happy family.❤ in Good luck. Please adopt...dont shop.

I’m thankful to everyone who puts their lives in danger to rescue animals from all over the world
Please continue to and don’t stop?
Thanks
Poor baby must have been absolutely terrified 😢
Thrilled good Samaritans stepped in to help him on the freeway and that he’s now adopted ! 🙏
Twenty years ago on my way to an event at the LA Coliseum, I tried to save a dog in heavy traffic on the 110. Few if any other people stopped to help, and I heard lots of "it's just a dog" from other drivers. I missed the roadrace, but I didn't care. Although I got close enough to give the dog water, I couldn't grab him before he ran off again and into the median. I called AC and police, but they were of no help then. When it got dark, I couldn't find or see the dog anymore, and I can only imagine what happened...
Anyway, it's nice to see that attitudes have changed, and I do think it's largely thanks to news stories like these. NC is also where I got my dearly departed Max in this photo, so I have a fondness for it. Congrats to this couple on adopting this lovely boy, Bailey, but I wonder if either one of them are runners?😉🐾👟
You’re like me. I do/would have done the same.♥ Always have leashes, water, treats, beach towel w/me for ‘helping’ when needed. And have spent hours too, trying. Some successes make it all worth it! 🐾♥
Bless your efforts.💟
Aw, beautiful family. Bailey is adorable. God bless that sweet, loving family.
😳 poor fur baby, the fear Bailey must have been through....adopted by two Angels 😇
Daam poor dog good to see hes in a better place
Thank u 2 everyone that helped Bailey b safe 🙏🙏❤️ & thanks 2 that couple 4 adopting such a beautiful boy❤️❤️😻
I m glad the dog got a forever home, God bless the dog and savers
Yay!!!! We love our sweet animal friends here in California :)
Thank you all of you that help this beautiful dog.
You two are angels and every single person who attempted to save the little dog that day. What hell some little animals are put through by people - but thank god there's also angels walking among us. ❤❤❤❤
Amazing story!! This dog is soooo lucky to not have been hit and injured or killed. The people who stopped to chase after him are true heroes and they should be commended bc they risked their own safety. The adopters, the new pawents of the dog seem like a great match for him and may they have a beautiful life together! ❤
Thank you for saving the dog and great he has a home
I remember this! It happened literally not that long ago! I'm so so happy this little angel now has a family and a sibling! 🥰 PLEASE ADOPT, DONT SHOP 🐶💖💖
More stories like this, please!
People can be wonderful with compassion ❤
i just love happy endings!
😄 🤣 😂
Thank you for helping 🙏🙏🙏😻😻😻😻
I'm so happy for the little guy 🐕God Bless him 🙏🏾
So glad he found his furever home and family!
Wait, so he’s a stray? But he had a collar and leash on??
Exactly what I was saying!😥
Maybe he belonged to a homeless person? Though he appeared to be wearing a harness leash, the story says he had "no chip and no collar". So the shelter kept Bailey for the stray-hold period.
@@laurat1129good point I forgot about a homeless parent.
Bottom line not a stray whatever ridiculous news station
Great news for that pup, thx to the rescuers
Praise Jesus Christ! I thank God for such people like you helping and loving animals. Thank you so much! Jesus Christ loves you!
Good reminder to cary emergency pet supplies in car, like an emergency car breakdown or snowed in survival pack.
I always have a couple leashes, big beach towel, water & treats w/me. And have helped rescue dogs for strangers/tourists, who have lost their dogs here. Incl ‘road runners’. And have witnessed many stop, or slow to a crawl, heavy traffic, for a loose dog.
Esp around the 4th/July time. :\
I don’t have my own anymore, 😔so I help others, who do.
I also have break down supplies, incl first aid, power bars & snacks, just in case, in a square heavy plastic laundry type basket, that can double for a temp holding place for a smaller dog, cat, or wildlife, as it has before. :)
Very happy ending! ❤ Hugs for the Lil Ones!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 GOD BLESS THE PERSON TO RESCUE THE DOG 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderful story.
God bless all good people save dogs
Sweet people trying to save him from the fwy ❤ glad he was adopted
Thank you whoever saved him...❤
Homeward Bound
They should name him Freeway.
God Bless Everyone 🙏🙏 that brave biker ❤❤❤
Thank you ❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Hes having a blast
That's good so nice
Thank you🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a hero ❤
Thank God❤
Hims a good boi😊😊😊
One thing I learned once when trying to catch stray dogs is that if you get in front of the dog and open your car door and invite them to jump in, if they’re used to riding in cars, they often will hop right in!
❤❤❤❤
sounds like that dog keeps getting into all sorts of trouble. next thing you know there’ll be a movie “inspired by…” or “based on real events…” lol
Somebody had to put the leash on him
what a cute and good story hehe ☺️😊
Stray dogs don't wear collars and leashes. That was a lost dog. Now that couple has someone else's dog.
My re didn’t post.
But one did in another thread, to you.
Bailey is safe & happy now.
Ppl need to be responsible pet owners, or anything can...& does, happen. :\
@@sonneversets3530 you have no idea what happened to the original owner. For all we know that person could’ve had a heart attack. There was an episode in pitbull and parolees were a woman who was attending The Mardi Gras passed out and her two large dogs got loose
fortunately they were micro chipped so when she got out of the hospital, she was able to get them back.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hurra' happy ending for the puppy😊
Sweetheart ❤❤❤
❤
🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Bailey has a wild horse in him, wow
should be interesting when the original owner comes forward and asks why they gave away his dog.
No chip. Shelters ‘hold’ strays 3-10 days before adopting out.
They didn’t call...I’d be calling every shelter for miles!!!! Esp if lost on the freeway, or close to one!!!
They also could have scanned on line & seen the viral vid of their dog running...🤔
Shelters also post animals on line... So...He’s safe & happy now. Could have been a very different ending.
🐕 ❤ 💋 😘
More shocked by lack of cars/traffic on the road.
I highly doubt that dog was a stray. Must have gotten away from previous owners.
But they didn’t do enough to find/get him back...so...And no chip.
Shelters ‘hold’ strays for 3-10 days for owners to contact.
I’d of been calling every one w/in many miles!!!
He’s safe & happy now. Could have been a very different ending. :\
@@sonneversets3530 well I mentioned this in another comment you have no idea what happened to the original owner. The only fault of the original Owner is that he did not or she did not get the dog micro chipped. Not to mention that the original owner could’ve been on vacation, most likely something related to a heart attack and not knowing enough about social media. Or the dog was a regular escape artist, but then that wouldn’t explain the fact that it had a collar and a leash.
Dog was quite healthy
Name the lucky dog 'Freeway!'
Why didn't the driver recording stop? Obviously that's why the dog kept running! And they knew about the dog this is all sketchy
He was adopted but like did they look for his original owners !?
Said no chip. All shelters scan for chips, & ‘hold’ 3-10 Days before adopting out strays.
I’d be calling every shelter for Miles!!!
He’s safe & happy now.
He was probably running after his owner that dumped him on the highway.
Not likely dumped w/leash on.
He’s safe & happy now. ♥🐾
@@sonneversets3530exactly
I wonder why a stray dog would be running with a leash on.
If there is a leash, it implies that the dog has a collar,
which suggests that there is an owner involved.
Or Dog abandoned by it’s owner
But most people don’t abandon the dog with a collar and a leash.
What the heck is the duck quacking sound at 02:45????
in Indonesia, people deliberateley abandon/throw away dogs at highway in the hope they'll be hit/crushed by speeding cars/trucks and they do, passing by cars/trucks are often deliberately directtheir vehicles towards the dogs and hit them. it is islam teaching in Indonesia where 95% of population is muslim that dogs are unholy and whoever do good to dogs will be sent to hell by Allah / God. But ironically, behind close door they salughter and eat dog meats. what a hypocrite! I used to be dog rescuer in Indonesia, this is one of the reason I dont do it anymore, my heart is not strong enough to see dog's suffering.
What do you mean stray dog ? the dog had a leash on him. How do these people get off Being reporters ffs
O.J!
He had a leash on though. He had an owner. He had no collar? How was the leash on.
That’s what you call incompetent reporting can’t believe these people get paid
Good scruff
Probablyhe was abandoned on the highway.. and was running to find his "owner".😢
You don’t abandon the dog with a collar and a leash on
But it had a collar and leash, doesn’t that mean it had an owner?
Yes, it does
But still not collar or tags
dumb ways to put your own life on serious risk !!!
Don't know why it bothers me that they say its near Chinatown 😂
of coruse gay people gpt him . they knew he was a viral dog 1st
Lies!!! He was running with a leash on!! So, he must’ve had a collar to connect the leash, duh!!! And, if he had a leash and collar then, he wasn’t just a random stray, he had owners and I’m sure those owners would love their dog back!!! FFS!!! Ugh!!! 🤦♀️🤬
Yep! I’m with you
