I got fitted in these about a month ago, and they’re my first pointe shoes. I love them! Even though I don’t technically have anything to compare them to, besides the others I tried in store, I feel grateful these were my first rodeo. The box is awesome for balance and stability, they feel great, and I love that the shoe gently hugs your foot and arch so you can really feel the articulation of your entire foot as you’re first learning how to do pointe work safely. This was what I imagined a perfect shoe would be like: protection in the box where you need it, a super stable slightly wider flat box for balance, and the rest of the shoe like a a light snug slipper, it’s shank dancing along with you giving soft, humble, consistent feedback, yet really inviting you to take the lead - it’s just there for support and encouragement. 💕
@@mom.onpointegriffin72 Yes, I love them so much! I didn’t realize how constrained every other shoe was for my toes or what true balance felt like vs. fighting the shoe every step of the way until these shoes made me see the light. My only complaint is that the shank is way too soft!
You should work on pre pointe strengthening exercises in regular ballet shoes or barefoot first. I would only do pre pointe shoes if your ballet teacher things it’s a good idea

@@stephiesands try starpointe!!! Just like streampointe but longer lasting!
@@mom.onpointegriffin72 thank you for the recommendation, I’ll definitely check them out after my next pair dies! 🤩👏
@@stephiesands I have video on them if you haven’t seen it. I now only wear starpointe!
These shoes are phenomenal
Those look great on you. I also trade off between Grishko & RP but more tapered models.
Thank you I really like them so far
Hey just got these! how long did they last?
I just started ballet. Should I try Demi pointe shoes to get ready for pointe?
