- In the summer of 2019 I was spending my holidays in Pisa in Italy and to be honest I was very impressed by the beauty of this city.
I have had already seen the Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli in many photos before, but it is something completely different when I have been there and seen it for myself.
That was thrilling experience with the atmosphere somehow being majestic. Therefore, I dedicated the first part of my two Pisa videos exclusively to the Piazza dei Miracoli and tried to convey my impressions of the majestic square with the editing.

Pisa ha anche uno dei centri storici più grandi D'Italia.
Si può fare un itinerario lungo 8km partendo dalla stazione,Piazza vittorio emanuele,Corso italia,Logge dei banchi, ponte di Mezzo,Lungarni,Chiesa della spina,Cittadella,Arsenali medicei museo navi antiche,Piazza garibaldi,pizza Pisana da chimenti,Borgo stretto,piazza vettovaglie,torre campano,piazza dante,piazza cavalieri,via santa maria,Piazza dei miracoli,Mura di pisa,Bagni di nerone.

This one is a very charming city and easy to get to, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

My wife and I had the privilege of being in Pisa July of 2019, and your video captures the city beautifully. Was it difficult to obtain permission for your drone flights?
Richard Santora: I was in Pisa in August 2020 and I enjoyed it very much. 🥰 In my video there are 2 drone shots only at the beginning of my video (the 2nd and the 3rd scene), but I haven’t taken them by myself as I didn’t have the permission to fly a drone in Pisa. But as I wanted to present an aerial view at the beginning I bought a license to use these 2 drone shots. All other shots are hyperlapse shots, I took them by walking very slowly. Best regards! 🍀
Pisa Airport is very close to the tower. Fly with drone is not permitted

Could you share your drone model?
Hello, thank you for your question. There are only 2 drone shots in the beginning of my video, second and third view. I didn't have permission to fly over Piazza del Duomo, so I bought licences for the two drone shots because I wanted to show my viewers the square from above. You can find this information also in the end credits of my video. All the other shots are mine, and I held the camera in my hands. Most of them are hyperlapse shots. Many greetings! 🍀

Wie warm es denn an diesem Tag im August? Ab wann füllt sich denn die Piazza Dei Miracoli bzw. wann ist die beste Uhrzeit für Bilder/Videos?
Hi, ich glaube, es waren dort so um die 30 Grad C herum, als ich die Aufnahmen gemacht habe. Das war ja noch in 2019; wie sich die Besucherzahlen seitdem verändert haben und was seitdem die besten Zeiten sind, weiss ich nicht, weil ich seitdem nicht mehr dort war. Ich persönlich bevorzuge aus filmischer Sicht aber generell die Zeiten um den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang herum. Viele Grüße!
