Somi is one of the most personal celebs ever. She really makes herself comfortable on camera and shared tips an ideas, not like she’s doing it for fans or an audience but with friends of hers. People are so critical and mean to her for no reason even though she’s so sweet. People will find any ridiculous reason to hate but the truth is there is no reason to hate, no matter how bad things are. Hate doesn’t make the world any more beautiful.

But if you know about skincare you know Somi's skincare routine here was a disaster cuz she uses physical scrubs,then DIY masks which are very useless...also she used that tool device at @2:00 aggressively that made her forehead red....but the rest of the steps were very nice and useful,also 14 steps for skincare isn't bad,ppl have different types of skin,and for making their skin good,we can obviously have 14 steps...

I really liked Somi as a soloist since her first song because she is so talented but never really get to know her personality, I follow her on Instagram and she seems like a cute, sweet person. I love how I could pick up on Pony's tips and tricks in Somi's routine. The square brush to lather on foundation, that square sponge that Pony always uses, the powder on the brows, etc. Yeah it's not something that Pony exclusively does, but knowing their friendship and Pony as her makeup artist, it's really interesting to see.
And she's using a lot of Pony's fav products too hehe.

I saw a kbeauty video one time, something with "how i do my makeup", and it was 15 minutes long and I swear that for 14 minutes she applied just skincare. With chungha and sunmi she is my newest fav kpop solo artist. Her songs are so catchy and her music videos are always interesting and full of little easter eggs (reminds me of Taylor swift sometimes). I think it's interesting how she does her makeup bc she obv has Korean influence (the way she contours and uses blush) but she also uses western products and does western techniques like the matte foundation, the smoky cat liner, the darkish arched brows. It fits her face very well (maybe bc she is half white half Korean). But imo she makes her nose look huge by the way she contours it. But as she said you can't see it on camera anyway 😅

Tbh her mom is right. Somi is beautiful and pretty enough even without make up. Her dad was also right to told her not too pluck or change her eyebrow, bcs her natural eyebrow (before this) was already has a perfect shape.
