do you have any recommendations of a physician in the Philadelphia area? zipcode 19454? I have stage 4 OA in the hip and have just started looking into peptides. Listened to your video and want to find some one locally and unfortunately, you are not local :(
Doc. I realise this is 2 years old. Was wondering if you’re familiar with Australian based Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals who’s repurposing the drug for OA and is current in phase 3 trial with the FDA?
I'm a veterinary surgeon in the UK and we've been using this drug in dogs for osteoarthritis for at least 20 years with good results in many cases, As someone who has early lesions of OA in my right knee , based on MRI findings, and suffering stabbing pain in the knee , often at night, made worse when I've done a few hours bike riding , I would love to try this drug. I had a couple of Ostenil injections intra-articularly last summer, but I haven't seen much effect from that.. When I mentioned PPS to my consultant late last year, he had heard nothing about PPS. Are there any UK consultants trialing it?
I use it on my horses all the time and they can't fake the beneficial responses they get from it. As usual, the treatments we have available for equine injuries are generally well ahead that provided by the NHS!
@@DrewTimmermansND since there is no cartilage, would I be correct to assume that it works more as a anti-inflammatory agent as opposed to cartilage regeneration? What is usually recommended in these cases of bone-one-bone OA? Combine with injectable HA gel (viscosupplementation)?
There is still cartilage present, even in end stage ('bone on bone') arthritis. HA is only going to temporarily improve symptoms, its not a disease modifying drug. Our approach for end stage OA is extremely involved and complex, and involves various approaches including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, stem cell therapy, intravenous nutrients, peptides, medications, supplements, etc. We heavily address senescence in the process.
@@DrewTimmermansND Is there any way to implement a protocol for out of area patients? My 93 y/o father has end stage OA, resides in CA and is unable to travel. Thanks.
Could PPS be administered for arthritis in the ankle just above the sinus tarsi area. because that is where I have missing cartilage where fluid builds up and I deal with inflammation pain almost on a daily basis? Thanks in advance!
@@DrewTimmermansND Thank you. I know the ankles/feet and hands are much more complex than the knee as far as pinpointing the problem and treating the correct area. That's why I asked. I recently had 2 Prolotherapy injections, 2 PRP injections, 4 AOD9604 +HA injections, and a daily injection of TB-500/BPC-157 for almost a month into that area. If I don't see or feel an improvement in the next 3-6 months, I will definitely look into PPS. Thanks again! Keep those videos coming.
Question Dr. Drew, would IM injections be done in the quad or the glute? And would it be more beneficial to inject subq in the quad or close to the knee vs the quad?
Where can I get PPS? I’m looking into peptides as well. I have arthritis in both my knees, more so my left knee along with a torn meniscus. I’m only 40, have tried stem cell therapy and have found traditional healthcare completely useless leading me to a knee replacement.
I have severe OA of the shoulder and do not want a replacement. Does it work for the shoulder? And I am near Fort Lauderdale FL, where could I get the shots?
There hasn't been much research on that. If there is bone marrow edema then there is a possibility that it could help. You would have to find a local doc who can prescribe it for you
Hey Doc I did 10mg over five weeks. Feeling good at the moment with some slight irritation still. Wondering if it's worth purchasing another 10 to 5 mg and continuing.
Great video! Could it help with finger join pain? I am a climber and have a chronic pain in the middle finger. Should it be injected subcutaneous than? Thank you!
We use PPS for osteoarthritis that has bone marrow edema associated with it. No idea if that's your middle finger or not. A better option might be BPC-157 - bit.ly/3gTNrEI
@@DrewTimmermansND my friend also tried it for his knee which was in pain from years of pushing the clutch pedal of a cement truck in NYC traffic. He said it made it like new again.

Nose cartilage is an area that I am not versed in sorry. My experience with cartilage is in joints like the knee. In the knee we would use bone marrow or adipose tissue to help potentially stimulate some cartilage repair. But I'm not sure about nasal cartilage
Michele, you also may want to look into the dosing and the duration of dosing. Elmiron, the oral form of PPS, would be taken in doses of 100 mg pills, three times a day, equating to 300 mg/day, equating to 2100 mg/week. Patients who developed retinal changes had been taking this drug, for 7+ years, at doses as I have just mentioned. In the instance of injectable PPS, we are looking at dosing of 2 mg/kg, twice a week, for six weeks, so for a person weighing 60 kg, that would be approx. 240 mg/week.
No lawsuit here. You are referring to the high dose oral regime, this is the much lower dose injectable version showing amazing results. ASX:PAR will point you in the right direction. If you still have concerns, just remember that drinking too much water will also kill you. The injectable version of PPS will be life changing for OA patients within the next 5-10 years. It's already in Phase 3 trials with FDA approval. Watch this space, it's going to be awesome.

Hi Dr Drew, can PPS be taken with TA1 or other peptides at the same time?
Maybe correct to assume that injectable is more efficacious than oral capsules?
Yes for osteoarthritis the oral form is not effective and it needs to be injected
Would PPS have any efficacy for chronic bone on bone knee OA?
That's one of the main indications for PPS yes.
