When I first saw him at his first appearance at the house of blues Hollywood...I saw a little kid so young and think I could see his arm Pitts and the voice of a 40 yr old..it came to my mind wow the new Amadeus of our time..I was impressed
I saw him in St Louis. Small venue and he was 16-17 barefooted and wonderful. My husband introduced me to his music. At first I thought he was an old black musician. Quite a show.
This young man plays that Guitar like he was born playing it! His voice is bluesy and he's already admired by some of the great's like Eric Clapton and BB King among others!
For the life of me, I can't understand why he isn't a household name. I was there when he came out with Lie To Me, and have been waiting for him to be a huge hit ever since then, but it's like the industry snuffed him out. He should be waaaaaay more popular than he is.
Amazing!! You are so passionate and so emotional!! Wonderful that you keep the guitar and blues tradition and make your own of it! I have followed you for some years.
The expressions on his face and in his voice cause me to worry that he's really torn up inside with an emotional breakdown in the works. ...kind of scary!
Dead wrong? I'm guessing you thought I was bashing J.L? Far from it! Seen him play 6 times and met him twice. (Super nice guy!) Obviously you know far more about the blues.... Please explain the blues to us idiots so we understand...
This guy is somewhat good, but nowhere near an ace, like Gary Moore or Tinsley Ellis... One has to be really selfconscious to mention them on one page. By some time i get even irritated by seeing him overplaying that "painful blues feeling". Real blues is something else. Something that Moore, Ellis, Buddy Guy, BB King and so many other great artists had. Blues is not at all about jumping and running all around the stage like a fkin idiot.
Jonny is not known to a lot of folks, but he is truly a master of both singing the blues and playing the blues guitar. He is a rare talent!
I got tickets last minute to see his acoustic show at a small venue in LA and it was literally life changing. He is not of this world.
Does the world know how talented this man is. Loved him since I was 16. Goodness he's amazing.
Amen🎇🖖
Same here,m! Big fan since Lie to me album
Best tone in the game ! He really pours his soul into the song!
I love cranking this up in the garage on my old school Pioneer system. Had it so loud, the clock fell of the wall and my beer went flat.

I have seen this artist in Colorado when he was 17 yrs. old. " bad ass " his music, to me will stand the test of time. JIMBO

INSANE!! This seriously gave me chills. Jonny Lang ladies & gentlemen. LOVE.
Man he has the best voice for blues.
Waw!
wow! what a voice this guy's got! I only looked him up on RUclips because I noticed his voice on the 'Blues Brothers 2000" film, and was blown away
I've never heard anybody sing or play like this. Absolutely fantastic!
This is one very talented AND sexy great sounding young man!!! Thank you, Theresa Luket

I’ve never seen an artist pour some much soul into one song. He guitar is such as great instrument. You can express yourself though it.
If you notice he plays a lot of his songs in A. I've followed him since his first album. Damn he can play and sing.
This is in B.
I had the pleasure of hearing him when he was only 15 and he was amazing then!
@Stefbusta - Exactly, I am listening to this whilst typing, and getting the shivers.
His first CD when he was 14.
Bloody brilliant.
Never seen this. AMAZING! Forget his guitar virtuousity, where does that damn voice come from?

4 words: The Thrill is Gone... on jet fuel, but B.B. no less... look him up, he ain't the father of the blues for nothin'.

The money I would pay to see it if they did is absolutely unholy. :) I totally agree that they should.
Add Joe Bonamassa to that, and I'm IN!

The expressions on his face and in his voice cause me to worry that he's really torn up inside with an emotional breakdown in the works. ...kind of scary!
+Eric Halloran, Sr. That's what blues does to ya man. That shows that the music is inside him.

Jonny and Kenny have toured before..not sure why Mayer didn't get in on it
Не ошиблась в нем. Respekt.

Aaaw, the guitar is too low on the solo :(
Under recorded guitar but the singing is great

Go listen to the original by Tinsley ellis.puts jonny to shame

Like moore he was in a-band by 14 & pro by 16. Born to it and has had an exploited life to give him his blues
Fkn amazing
