Good question! The car has built in fire extinguishers that go off automatically and NASCAR also has safety crews that get to the car quickly to provide further help to put out the fire!
@@ianthewarriorgamer8180 NASCAR is not a sport it’s a sanctioning body for stock car racing, so yes you can race in NASCAR at 16 just not in one of the three national series (the guy in the video is Xfinity which is a minor league series in the national level). And yes, you can race in the trucks or Xfinity at 18 or even younger. If this dude is really serious he can be racing in NASCAR’s Weekly or Roots series by 16.
You can start racing before 16 in non-NASCAR sanctioned races and get into the NASCAR feeder series on a part-time schedule and then be legal to compete in the truck series full time by 18 if you’re actually serious about racing.

Usually drivers can still get out of the window net when they crash. They know how to unhook everything and undo the window net. There's a roof hatch if they can't get out of the window for some reason!
Mostly they have quick releases and they have trained for those kind of situations, don't worry about the fire, those suits can "block" fires up to 20 seconds of fire exposure (that's a lot of time for escape) Remember Romain grosjean on his F1 crash? That's the perfect example (probably not for the escaping, but the fire resistance😅)
When nascar was founded they raced showroom cars but the doors were strapped shut. Eventually the cars were purpose built for racing so they just didn’t have doors
Typically if a driver wrecks, they can get out the same way they came in - through the window. If that isn’t possible, there’s a rood hatch they can open and climb through as well!
That's not the way it's done you can get in the car anyway you want halocene Kevin harvick put his helmet on and then jump in the car has Dale jr. Dude back in you can do it anyway you want
@yano4473 holy shit that actually makes sense there's no way they can see beside them or behind bc there helmet is strapped into the seat kinda right ?
They do have a center rearview and a left side view mirror tucked behind a cage bar. Can't really see much out of the rearview but the side view is to check if anyone's below you when you're going onto pit road.
And as Yano said, to compensate for poor visibility when strapped in the car, the drivers have a spotter standing above the grandstands (or elsewhere on Road Courses) to give them awareness to their surroundings.
